On 02/01/18 I received a bill for payment for a chamber inhaler for my son. I believed I had already been billed by my medical office so I called the company's phone. The message stated that the phone number was out of service. So, instead, I sent them an email stating that I wanted to confirm payment needs. Nobody responded to my email which I sent to the billing email address also included in their bill.
I received a past due notice today 03/05/18 in which they stated my bill was 90 days past due and that if I did not make payment within 14 days, they would send me to collections.
1. How could a second notice, 34 days after the first notice suddenly make me 90 days past due?
2. They never responded to my immediate query regarding the billing.
These practices are horrible, putting a consumer and patient at a disadvantage when not being given important information but being threatened with collections.

Neb Group of Arizona responded to the patient in a very timely manner in all occasions and tried to communicate effectively as best as possible. As in the email listed that I sent on 03/05/2018, I never received an email response that was supposedly sent on 02/02/18. Additionally - my issue that the business was stating payment was 90 days past due when the first notice of payment due on 02/01/18 with zero days past due - and a month later they bill me with 90 days past due? This company is definitely not communicating effectively nor do they appear to be billing appropriately. While they claim efficient communication, I never received the first email they claim they sent (I do check my SPAM folders) and never saw this. Secondly, they claim a statement went out on 12/20/17 - I never received it. The first I received on 02/20/18. The second and final I received on 03/05/2018. In the first notice (received February), it did not state any days past due. Besides, if the first statement they claim was billed on 12/20/2017, then the bill would not be 90 days past due until 03/20/2018.

They are not representing the truth of the chain of events.

The account regarding customer ID for *** has been paid in full in the amount of $20.00 as of 3/5/2018. No credit agency was notified on the account, and currently, Neb Group of Arizona does not use a credit agency; but only a calling agency to notify patients of past-due balances. So, no negative credit could possibly be applied to this account. If there is anything else we can do to rectify this issue please let us know. Thank you.
