Review: I bought the item - NECA 24 inch 2014 Godzilla, UPC[redacted]-5 via [redacted], one of NECA's brick and mortar distributors. The product has a defective structural integrity of a sound chip that easily breaks when a required piece is inserted to complete the installation of the product. Even though I was careful and followed the included extra instructions for installation, the sound chip still snapped in half. I went back to the place of purchase for an exchange, but they could not offer me one because they, nor any other store in my state had the item in stock. There was also no way for me to order a replacement directly because their distribution centers for the entire district of [redacted] didn't have any in stock either. They could only offer me a refund and told me to try to contact NECA directly. I went to their website (http://necaonline.com/) and it says clearly on their customer support page that they are not set up for customer service, but I filled out a form to file a report for the defective item. I received an auto-response email that said they will only reply if my report included all the required information, which it did, since I completed the form thoroughly. I have yet to receive a proper response from them yet. I am at a loss on how to resolve this issue.Desired Settlement: I would like to exchange the defective product for a proper working product or a replacement of the broken sound chip for a working one.
