Like I said *** is a LIAR and threaten his children I never didLol that's kind of amusing*** received nasty text back only due to his name callingEveryone has the right to defend themselvesHis receipt clearly states what he paid forThe cork flooring was not broken by me or my scaffoldingIt was inspected as the floors were being cleaned in the areas of drywall mud dropsIf there is any danger to his children then its self inflictedWith the construction mess like never seen before

[redacted] is a liar. Hey was offered a price of 1500.00 to 1600.00 for finished drywall with texture.
[redacted] replied he didn't want a pretty finish.. he stated "it don't have to look pretty I just want to cover the seems
So I can skip trowel" the price was dropped. And now he...

wants more.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed.
First off a liar I am not. Mr. [redacted] and I agreed upon a finish that all I had to do is apply a textured finish. He stated he could provide a more of a finished look which would cover the seems and hide most imperfections. I believe he used the term "finished look". Yet kept calling it a first coat. I agreed upon the lower price he offered because he said if I paid in cash it would lower the bill dramatically. Also with myself providing the texture it also lowered the bill to the price we agreed upon. Then when I was not present and only my wife was the one dealing with Mr. [redacted] he was rude about receiving the money and demanded the cash upfront.
Second, when a so called "business man" says he would sand and remove the rough edges, lay down visqueen so nothing gets dusty or extra spackle on it. Also states he would insure my new kitchen cabnets would be tapped off so again extra material would not get on to them yet does not do it. Or doesn't feel the need to take down light fixtures that might be in the way. Remove light switch covers or electrical outlet covers to Finish the job.. How is a customer supposed to feel as if the job is finished or be satisfied with the "business man"?
Third, wanting more from this man would be anything but pleasurable. Except for a reimbursement of the new cost to not only finish the job the way it was supposed to be and agreed upon by both parties, " Mr. [redacted] and myself". And to fix what Mr. [redacted] did improperly and Unprofetionally.
Even if myself "just wanted the seams covered", which is not how the discussion went.. That wasn't even done.. Not all seams are covered. He applied so much material in a short amount of time that is is all cracking and in some spots about to fall off. There was so much of a mess left by Mr. [redacted] that my wife had to spend most of Friday cleaning up. He didn't make an attempt to clean after himself. No visqueen was applied, no sanding took place.
When my self confronted Mr. [redacted] about his lack of work, integrity, and failure to complete the job, he responded with "you wanted first coat that's what I did" not even an apology for the mess, an explanation of his failures or even acknowledgement of the fact he broke part of the Cork flooring.
So apparently "first coat" means not cleaning up after yourself, taking advantage of a woman "my wife", not finishing the job, being lazy and not doing things that are required to even complete said job, being threatening, and being a disrespectful poor excuse of a "handyman"  than great! He did what he was suppose to do.. Other wise I'm extremely unhappy and would like something positive to be done.
With Mr. [redacted] threatening my children and degrading myself as a person and a father. Even resorting in name calling I am insuring that the right thing is done.
Wheather Mr. [redacted] decides to reimburse his customer, "my self, Mr. [redacted]" or choses not to will determine if legal action is necessary.
NOT TO MENTION HE HAS BEEN WORKING UNDER AN EXPIRED CONTRACTORS LICENSE! "See attached photo"

Review: I hired [redacted] in order to fix drywall in my home. We discussed that he would get the drywall to where all I had to do I apply texture. That's what I wanted to do. Try and keep the cost down and yet get it ago a finished look. [redacted] kept saying that he would get it to a finished look. One coat. He never specified one coat meant one coat of bad craftsmenship. I was led to believe one coat meant the whole wall would be covered in plaster. I asked him to hide the seems and fix any flaws that we had discussed. I have 4 small children 6,4,2 and a new born so I have little time to work on most projects along with working 12+ hours a day. We discussed what needed to be done and he was vary adamant about doing it correctly and being clean. Again that was most important due to having small children.

The first day he showed up I was gone to work, he demanded the cash up front to my wife being vary disrespectful to her. After being late, not showing up when he said he would, not contacting myself with any idea of when he would be coming around to do the work, or just taking 5 working days to do what looks like a few hours of work, each day was a new excuse for him.

He left my home with more than a mess, spackle on my new kitchen cabinets and cork flooring, more than unfinished drywall threw the work area Most of the seems at the top of the walls are cracked now due to he just gobbled material up there in a hurry. Was to lazy to removed light switch covers and electrical covers.. He didn't even ask me to remove them. He didn't sand or even knock down any extra material that is hanging off the walls like he said he would.

He told my wife he finished the job. I called him on it and he was more than defensive than proceeded to threaten me, call me names along with being a liar. I do have pictures to prove it and at least a receipt from his company stating he did get paid. With the threatening text messages and such I have pictures of these as well I just want justice.Desired Settlement: He apologize for his horrible work. Stop working under an expired license and stop ripping others off. I'm not the first person he has screwed over!!
