in response to the Complaint filed by [redacted] :August 3, Mr [redacted] called and wanted to have a free estimate completed to complete an outdoor fishpond and waterfall.August 10, the estimate was completed and sent to Mr, [redacted] After reviewing the written estimate, we asked the homeowner for 1/down to schedule the jobWe received 1/down ($1850.00) for work to start after Sept 15, The date was set due to being booked this far in advanceAfter homeowner paid with credit card $ on August we processed the cardOn August 27th the job was cancelled and requested a refundAfter checking with our local bank to verify the funds were processed we then called our credit card processer (Central Payment) and asked what the fee would be for processing the credit cardWe were told to hold 5% plus $ processing fee until our monthly statement was completedWe then subtracted $ (5%) and gave Mr [redacted] a check for $ 1,on August 29, 2017.After hearing from Mr [redacted] that he thought the $ should not be withheld from his refund, Central payment was calledOur statement was just completed and only the amount of $ plus $was charged to our accountImmediately on 9/5/Mr, [redacted] was issued a check of $ for the difference,Thank you,Keith K [redacted] Owner
