My father recently was d/c from the hospital with his Dr recommending 24 hr care due to increasing fatigue from his diagnosis of CA. His current assistance from Need a Helping Hand was employed for 12 hrs a week and is quiet good however did mention this was her 1st position with an agency. Previous to any discussion of increasing her hours I asked her for her companies number however she said she did not have it. She instructed my father that her and her sister could cover 24 hr care for the 20$ an hour which would equal 500.00$ a day or 150,000.00$ a year. Since I am an Occupational Therapist I thought that was strange and relatively unethical. I would suggest that this company would provide greater ethics training for their employees.
