I am attaching an example of our client release formIt is adapted directly from the state health department, (our regulating body), and warns of pain and discomfortThere is no need to go into further details about the "what ifs," because these possibilities could be endless! It is implied, and
one would think it to be common sense, that the person recieving the tattoo or piercing is responsible for the care of said procedureI assured this young lady that the problem she was having was a fairly common occurance, and nothing to be alarmed about, however I cannot be there every step of the way to make sure they are living up to thier end of thingsIn fact, this is the first time I have seen it become such a problem, if what she's saying is trueBy the way, I have pierced nostrils in the quantities of thousands by now, and I can assure you that if I had to see such things through, that I would have been able to rescue the jewelry- and with minimal painThen again, I have been a licensed piercer for about years nowAs far as the post I made about the situation, I don't feel at all as if it was unprofessional like she stated! Not only did I make her anonymous, but I asked people to be polite, knowing that I have fierce loyalty after years of business in the areaTruly, I was curious what people thought I should donot because I was going to base my decision on itbut just to guage how empathetic my decision would beHere is the link so that you can see for yourself:***
Compelling public opinion I think! Overwhelmingly opposed to a full refund, and somewhat opposed to anyHowever, I like to TRY to give my customers a fair shakeEven though I felt insulted that she would ask for even her tip back, I still refunded half her moneyBeing in this business for years, I can guarantee that she should have counted her lucky stars for that. So now it's an issue of principle! I will definitely not be refunding her any more money, and I hope the Revdex.com can see my point of view on this. Thank you, *** ***
