In the summer of 2016, Crab Orchard Utility District (CUD) contracted with a new billing company. On line, the customer was permitted to choose the type billing notification desired: paper billing or email notification. I chose email notification. For four months in a row, I called the Crossville TN office stating that I haven't gotten any email notification (yes, I even checked my junk mail in the process). Each time I got the comment "I'll let them know." I called them again on 10/10/2016 (4th time) stating the problem again, and again I got the comment "I'll let them know." When I asked who to call to resolve this problem, I was told "I don't know," and then they hung up on me. I called them back and they hung up on me again. You now ask, below, how likely I am to recommend this business to a friend - - I definitely wouldn't due to the rude customer service and lack of knowledge, but they are the only "business" in town and must be used. Dealing with this company is extremely negative and management and employees need to be replaced.
