We would first like to say we are always sorry to hear a customer is not happy with our companyWe had stopped communication with the home owner as we felt going to meet her in person or continuing communication would further escalate the situationThe home owner had left us a review on another
site and said she would also be leaving a review with the Revdex.comAt that time we felt it was best to wait for the complaint from the Revdex.com and communicate through a 3rd partyThe home owner states she did not want us to complete the 3rd contract for the ceilings because of to many excuses and delays on the first two jobsAlthough she did not sign the contract for the 3rd job until 12/28/after we had done the first two jobsIf she was unhappy with our work performance and time line why would she continue to schedule work with us? The contract we signed with the home owner for the 3rd job had a start date of 1/22/We had explained to the home owner we had another job scheduled before her ceilings with a start date scheduled to start 1/2/We told her we could try to paint her ceilings before beginning our next job as it would be 1/22/if we did the other job firstShe said if you could paint my ceilings first that would be greatWe contacted her on 1/2/and explained we had frozen pipes to deal withIt ended up being a bigger issue then we expected and we did not go in to work that weekThe home owner fired us on 1/5/days before the scheduled start date she agreed to when she signed the contract which we can provide a copy ofShe said her job should have come first when really the 3rd ceiling job scheduled should not have come before someone else who scheduled before herWe feel the return of the $deposit is not our obligation as we did not void anything we had agreed to in the contractIt also states in the contract signed deposits are non-refundableWe were willing to begin the job 1/8/still days before the scheduled start dateWe have no problem paying for the carpet that she said there was paint on that we were unaware had happened until the home owner told us we still have not seen the damage or a bill of repairWe do not doubt it happened and that is the reason we just work as a person teamWe did hire people to help on this job to meet the home owners time lineThe paint being spilt on the carpet and us not being told about it is a perfect example of why we choose not to have employeesWe would like to resolve this issue and are willing to give a refund of $for the carpet repair and any touch ups she said she had to have finishedWe did not return after we were fired from the ceiling to do touch ups from the first two jobs as we felt the situation would have escalated to a much worse situationWe hope we can each see this situation form each others point of view and make a realistic plan of resolution to move passed thisThank you Neese's Painting LLC
