We would first like to say we are always sorry to hear a customer is not happy with our company. We had stopped communication with the home owner as we felt going to meet her in person or continuing communication would further escalate the situation. The home owner had left us a review on another...

site and said she would also be leaving a review with the Revdex.com. At that time we felt it was best to wait for the complaint from the Revdex.com and communicate through a 3rd party. The home owner states she did not want us to complete the 3rd contract for the ceilings because of to many excuses and delays on the first two jobs. Although she did not sign the contract for the 3rd job until 12/28/2017 after we had done the first two jobs. If she was unhappy with our work performance and time line why would she continue to schedule work with us? The contract we signed with the home owner for the 3rd job had a start date of 1/22/2018. We had explained to the home owner we had another job scheduled before her ceilings with a start date scheduled to start 1/2/2018. We told her we could try to paint her ceilings before beginning our next job as it would be 1/22/2018 if we did the other job first. She said if you could paint my ceilings first that would be great. We contacted her on 1/2/2018 and explained we had frozen pipes to deal with. It ended up being a bigger issue then we expected and we did not go in to work that week. The home owner fired us on 1/5/2018 17 days before the scheduled start date she agreed to when she signed the contract which we can provide a copy of. She said her job should have come first when really the 3rd ceiling job scheduled should not have come before someone else who scheduled before her. We feel the return of the $300.00 deposit is not our obligation as we did not void anything we had agreed to in the contract. It also states in the contract signed deposits are non-refundable. We were willing to begin the job 1/8/2018 still 14 days before the scheduled start date. We have no problem paying for the carpet that she said there was paint on that we were unaware had happened until the home owner told us we still have not seen the damage or a bill of repair. We do not doubt it happened and that is the reason we just work as a 2 person team. We did hire 2 people to help on this job to meet the home owners time line. The paint being spilt on the carpet and us not being told about it is a perfect example of why we choose not to have employees. We would like to resolve this issue and are willing to give a refund of $250.00 for the carpet repair and any touch ups she said she had to have finished. We did not return after we were fired from the ceiling to do touch ups from the first two jobs as we felt the situation would have escalated to a much worse situation. We hope we can each see this situation form each others point of view and make a realistic plan of resolution to move passed this. Thank you Neese's Painting LLC
