I took a truck that I inherited from my grandfather who I was very close to and it ran perfectly fine I had them bleed out there from from the fuel lines and also fix up with with the gas tanks first of all they said they would have it done within a week but it took 2 weeks and second of all since I've taken my truck there that hasn't run right and they are insulting my grandpa's legacy which is this truck I think they should be investigated and have the high extent of the law upon them and at the very least they should be shut down forever and they don't seem to know what the hell they're doing if they would have been straightforward and honest with me saying they have no idea how to work on my truck then I would have said that's fine have a good day and I would have taken my business somewhere else and now I'm one vehicle short and that doesn't fly for me as now I have to get my vehicle fixed and I don't know how long it will take and I need my vehicle to work so I would like is a refund of my money and an apology from them because I think they do that to meProduct_Or_Service: Working on my truckDesired SettlementI would like a full refund of my money and them to announce their going out of business forever they should not be allowed to work on a scooter let alone someone's truck whose livelihood is onlineBusiness Response WE ARE SORRY YOU ARE HAVING PROBLEMS WITH YOUR TRUCK. HERE ARE THE FACTS AS WE KNOW THEM.-TRUCK SHOWED UP ON 1/26/16 AT 4:30PM VIA TOW TRUCK AND RO WAS CREATED AT 4:42PM THE AFTERNOON IT WAS DROPPED OFF. JOB WAS INVOICED AND PICKED UP ON 2/1/16. WE DO NOT WORK WEEEKNDS. -TRUCK WOULD NOT START.-DIAGNOSED TRUCK AND BUILT ESTIMATE THE NEXT DAY. -GOT APPROVAL FROM CUSTOMER TO PERFORM REPAIRS. -ORDERED PARTS (THEY WERE 2 WORKING DAYS OUT. TRUCK IS 32+ YEARS OLD AND PARTS WERE NOT READILY AVAILABLE IN [redacted]).-INSTALLED PARTS AND VERIFED REPAIR. -NOTIFIED CUSTOMER OF THESE OTHER REPAIRS NEEDED, UNIT NEEDS A BRAKE SYSTEM FLUSH, UNIT IS LOW ON COOLANT, P/S SYSTEM NEEDS SERVICED, FRONT SHOCKS NEED TO BE REPLACED, THERE ARE OIL LEAKS COMING FROM THE ENGINE, WIRING UNDER DASH NEEDS TO BE RE-DONE, AND THE RADIATOR CAP NEEDS TO BE REPLACED. THE CUSTOMER DID NOT WANT ANY OTHER ITEMS REPAIRED AT THAT TIME.-AT THE TIME THE TRUCK LEFT THE CUSTOMER WAS MADE AWARE THAT THE TRUCK NEEDS MORE REPAIRS DONE. -WE NEVER ONCE INSULTED ANYONE DURING THIS JOB, NOR WOULD WE WANT TO. -THIS IS THE FIRST TIME THIS HAS BEEN BROUGHT TO OUR ATTENTION.- WE ARE MORE THAN WILLING TO WORK WITH THE CUSTOMER AND ASK THAT HE PLEASE STOP BY.

Dodge truck started showing codes that finally shut truck down. Hauled truck to Elko to shop. They replaced TIPM,ECM, and checked all connections, and wires. Total price $3804.97 Truck did not make it home. Broke down again same codes. Had truck hauled to [redacted]. Mechanic traced wires and checked all connections and found burnt wires above engine and a bad plug connection on TIPM. Bad plug. Truck started and has been running fine ever since. The ECM and TIPM in my truck were fine, just a bad connection between TIPM and the ECM. I feel that if Neffs Diesel Repair had spent more time trouble shooting instead of just throwing parts at the truck the bill would have been a lot less.Desired SettlementTotal refund on parts and labor. They didn't repair my truck. Business Response We understand that there is a complaint about the repairs made to alleged vehicle. We are sorry for the inconvenience this has caused all parties involved. We show repairs made to alleged consumers vehicle with an invoice date of May 28, 2013. The consumers vehicle was towed to our shop not running. Vehicle left our shop running and operating properly with no active codes. What consumer used vehicle for after leaving our facility is unclear at this time. We request that the consumer provide us with: 1. All tow bills inquired from breakdown after repairs performed on alleged vehicle from our invoice date, to include vin and mileage of alleged vehicle. 2. All invoices accrued for repairs of alleged vehicle after leaving our facility, to include Dates, Mileage, and Vin of alleged vehicle. On November 6, 2013 at 9:35 we contacted consumer after a representative of consumer notified us of the alleged vehicles issues. At that time we requested from consumer by phone conversation, the above two items (tow bills and invoices) so that we could review the alleged work performed. We have not received requested documents from consumer at this time. This communication through the Revdex.com is the first communication we have had with consumer since phone conversation on November 6, 2013 at 9:35am. We request consumer to provide us with tow bills and invoices accrued with alleged vehicle so that we may resolve this issue. Final Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)Case # [redacted] Feb. 8, 2014Not SatisfiedIn reviewing our phone records I did make several contacts with Neff's.Truck ready May 28th 2013Picked up truck on May 30th 20131st phone call June 3, 2013 Complaint call2nd phone call July 18, 2013 Complaint call3rd phone call July 18, 2013 Complaint call4th phone call July 19, 2013 Complaint call5th phone call Sept. 18, 2013 Being when my uncle called Neff's abut the trucks problems, requesting the parts invoice be faxed to [redacted].November 6, 2013 my uncle stopped in at Neff's place of business with no satisfaction, which led then to the Revdex.com.Final Business Response If given the opportunity to keep our business in good standings with the customer we would have gladly diagnosed the truck if the customer would have brought the truck up to our shop. When the customer required the invoice for the parts, that were installed on the truck when it was at our shop, we were more than willing to help with that and took care of getting that information to him as quickly as possible the same day. We are aware that the customer lives so far away from us, but we are unable to diagnose anything over the phone. We need the unit physically at our location to be able to run the tests to be able to find what was causing the alleged complaint. There is insufficient evidence to justify any compensation regarding this case. FINAL RESPONSE.
