Hello,
We have not had any resolution yet as Mr. Neff's Ins Adj. informed us that the two roof inspections we had done were not agreed on as it is my understanding, that Mr. Neff said he did nothing wrong. So the Ins Adj. has to find an UNBIASED roofer from another county Franklin Co. to come last week and inspect the roof. He was to get a report written up with all the problems and send to the Ins. Adj. We are still having water damage as the chimney had gotten so saturated, it is weeping constantly, so we have a bucket in bedroom where water is seeping through to a new spot in ceiling. It has leaked three different time into  living room, AGAIN it is raining....... The ins Adj, said it would be a week and a half till we heard back from him as he is going to Florida on vacation.
Today marks a week, so we are still in limbo......

I recived a call from someone's adjuster.. I returned the call and left a message to call me back.. I can't help that he hasn't returned my call. ive checked my voice mail every day waiting for them to call.. I was at your place there wasn't any water damage and you also have had you chimney fixed where the issue of the leak was.. so you now have no other issues on leaks.. u you won't answer you phone when I call and you have blocked me from any types of communications in messanger.  So don't sit there and say my letter we was "rebuttal" when I am obligated to respond to the letters.. your year warranty was up.. I didnt have to come back. I even initiated the claims process to get things started that's the I not reason they came out. So dodnt sit there and say I am not doing anything about this.

I Joshua N[redacted] from Neff's Roofing am responding to the complaint by **. and [redacted] had entered into a contract with Neff's Roofing on 10/23/14 to replace their entire roof of around 20 sq with coco brown tin roofing with a one year labor warranty provided by Neff's Roofing. Neff's...

Roofing completed [redacted] roof installation on 11-21-2014. [redacted] also signed a customer approval signature on the date of 11-21-2014. On 12-17-2015 [redacted] contacted Me on [redacted] Messenger and told me that she noticed a leak. I told her that I would be out to take a look at it but due to my other job not to mention it was pouring down rain and you  can't get on a 11/12 pitch tin roof when it is raining I told her I would come out on the 18th. when I showed up on the 18th I had brought along one of the guys that I had help me install the roof so we could get a good look at it and see what we could do. When we knocked on the door [redacted] met us on her front porch and allowed us to come in. I said to her in the present of the three of us ( [redacted], My helper and Myself) Ya know [redacted] your one year warranty is up. [redacted] stated "oh no it isn't" I said " yes it is but we will still take a look at it free of charge." [redacted] stated " Oh Great". We proceeded to the upstairs where we did see the black water marks from the chimney on the wall. we then proceeded up the stairs to the attic where we saw the floor around the chimney was wet. [redacted] also had a bucket there catching the drops of water. while we were up there we did see water dropping into the bucket the weird thing was it was not raining during the time of inspection. so I thought maybe it was not water but condensation. I told [redacted] that we would have to check from the outside now. [redacted] stated that maybe with all the wind the other day it may have blew off the flashing around the chimney. Which may I mention had happened in the past prior to Neff's roofing putting on the roof for [redacted]. I was unable to check the roof from the top on this day of the 18th due to not having my tall ladder. so I checked the weather to make sure that there wasn't any rain in the forecast. I saw no rain and told [redacted] that I would be up on Saturday the 19th to try and fix the issue. on Saturday myself and the guy that helped install the roof went onto the peak of her house and saw that the flashing had been dislodged from its original place. So we took Clear caulking that comes out of the tube white and is supposed to dry clear to place the dislodged piece of counter flashing back into it original place. Now for some reason unknown to me it did not dry clear it stayed white. I sent [redacted] a messaged stating that I felt we fixed the issues. they told me they would watch it and see what happens. a day or two later they said that it was still leaking and that they were going to be getting other names of contractors to come fix it. I read that message as if they were writing me off and didn't want me to come back due to my one year labor warrant/contract being up with them and they were just going to ask someone else. never did I once say that I wouldn't have come back to try again. I wasn't even going to charge them to fix it because I just wanted to make it right so they would continue to give me a good recommendation.Well [redacted] has stated that she had two contractors come to her house and state that she needed a whole new roof because the entire roof was wrong and poor workmanship and short cuts were made. if I would have done poor workmanship the warranty on the tin would have been voided. The supplier of the tin I used had sent one of his guys to inspect the roof and his inspector stated that the tins warranty wasn't voided. so poor workmanship is not the issue. you can't take short cuts with tin. it is harder to take short cuts with tin rather than just putting the tin on right in the first place. I also contacted one of the contractors that came and looked at [redacted] roof and he stated that he would fix the issues he saw he stated to me that he makes his valleys bigger and he stated to me that he puts his end wall  under the siding rather than on top. he stated to me that he would fix what he saw NOT REPLACE THE WHOLE ROOF. fact in the matter is that the leak is not in either one of the spots he talked about it is at the CHIMNEY. I contacted my tin supplier and asked if there was a set installation guide on how to do valleys and how big to make them and if you had to put the end wall under or over the siding. they stated to me that the size of the valley and the end wall is the preference of the installer and the customer. and when I talked to [redacted] about placing the end wall under the siding she said not to because of the extent of having to tear off the siding that they were getting painted anyways and that the end wall color and the color of paint they pick would look nice together. so in short just because there are three different people doing three different things it doesn't make it wrong. [redacted] one year labor warranty ran out on 11-21-14 I was willing to fix the issue at the chimney no charge. She had no other leaks at the time of us being there on the 18th. I contacted the Revdex.com and asked if I could contact [redacted] and see if I could just come replace all the flashing and get rid of the leak. I sent her a message on [redacted] messenger just as she had done with me. when I typed out my questions to her and hit send a message appeared stating THIS PERSON IS NOT ACCEPTING ANY MESSAGED FORM YOU AT THIS TIME. I am attaching copies of the contact and the dates and the amounts are very apparent. The customer approval and [redacted] signature is very Clear also.
