As the business owner I do not appreciate slander to my business when customers can not take responsibility for not returning emails or phone calls I can provide documents (phone records) to show the phone calls, and copies of the email Yes, Mrs [redacted] was told there was a partial check sent, as it turned out with in days Mrs*** complained to Revdex.com and the refund check is still sitting in an envelope It was not a lie If Mrs [redacted] truly wanted a refund she would have attempted to contact my company more than the or times she says she tried I will send a partial check as soon as I can have a new one printed as the first is no longer a valid check But the partial refund at this point due to fees, will only be for $

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:I am very surprised of this detailed message by Neglected Repairs, with so many dates of trying to contact me with no avail. This is simply not true. If they did try to contact me via phone call, they never left me a message, and by the way, my voicemail is never full. I do not answer all the calls I receive, but I do return every message left on my voicemail. When I originally purchased the deal through [redacted], I contacted Neglected Repairs one or two times, and since they did not respond to my calls or email messages, I contacted [redacted] and they contacted them. Neglected Repairs did not show up several times when we had schedule an appointment. They would never call me back to reschedule. Last time Ms [redacted] sent me was on March 18 where she told me the following: AS it is not an actual business day I will be blunt. Since our business hours are Monday thru Friday 8am to 12pm, 1pm to 5pm. You will be getting a partial refund, with a letter of explanation. The payment went out last week. I did not respond to this message waiting to see what kind of a refund Ms [redacted] was talking about, since she did not mention any amount on her message. The check never came. She never sent it. She obviously lied. And then she acuses me that they didn't send me the partial refund because I had requested a full refund. I had requested a full refund way before she sent me this text message. She it should not have been an excuse for her not to send me the partial refund. This company did not want to do the work I paid them to do, and that is the bottom line. I would have taken the $65 and forget about the whole deal, but they kept all of the money. I understand companies get busy at times and can not complete jobs in a timely manner, but usually responsible companies call the customer and let them know what is going on. But not Neglected Repairs. They do not know how to do business and how to treat customers.
Regards,
[redacted]

As the business owner I do not appreciate slander to my business when customers can not take responsibility for not returning emails or phone calls.  I can provide documents (phone records) to show the phone calls, and copies of the email.  Yes, Mrs. [redacted] was told there was a partial check sent, as it turned out with in 2 days Mrs. [redacted] complained to Revdex.com and the refund check is still sitting in an envelope.  It was not a lie.  If Mrs. [redacted] truly wanted a refund she would have attempted to contact my company more than the 2 or 3 times she says she tried.  I will send a partial check as soon as I can have a new one printed as the first is no longer a valid check.  But the partial refund at this point due to fees, will only be for $50.

Communication with [redacted].  Mrs. [redacted] purchased 1 [redacted] Special for $99 through [redacted] on 8/11/17.  The coupon purchased was for 2 hours of handyman service to be completed not to include electrical or plumbing and was valid for 90 days.  Neglected Repairs received an...

email from Mrs. [redacted] explaining the project (fence repair) she wished to have done.  On 8/12/17 Neglected Repairs responded to the original email offering multiple days & times, no response was recieved.  With no response Neglected Repairs began trying to contact with the phone number left on [redacted].  The first phone call was 8/16/17 we were unable to leave a message as the mailbox was full.  Called again 8/23/17, was able to leave a message.  Called again 9/12/17 left message, no response.  At this point we followed up with an email stating about the no response from phone calls.  11/27/17 [redacted] contacted us about an upset Mrs. [redacted].  Neglected Repairs responded to the email from [redacted] on 11/28/17 with the same information listed above and noted that we would follow up again with another email and phone call.  11/28/17 Contacted Mrs. [redacted] and scheduled an estimate for 12/4/17 and work to be completed on 12/7/17.  Neglected Repairs showed up on 12/4/17 for the estimate, spoke with homeowner Mrs. [redacted] and explained that bad weather was moving in and we would not work in thunderstorms.  If the weather turned bad Neglected Repairs would call to reschedule.  On 12/7/17 The weather was bad, Neglected Repairs attempted to contact Mrs. [redacted] but there was no answer on the phone, and we were unable to leave a message as the mail box was full again.  12/8/17 attempted to contact Mrs. [redacted] again to re-schedule there was no answer, and was unable to leave a message.  12/12/17 Neglected Repairs attempted to call Mrs. [redacted] again with no answer and unable to leave a message again. 12/21/17 Mrs. [redacted] left a review on [redacted] "I purchased a deal of $99 for two hours of handyman work last August. This is the end of December and Neglected Repairs seems not too interested in performing the work. And even worse, [redacted] says they can do nothing about it! I wanted a different company to do the work, but no, it cannot be done. [redacted] even says that my membership is not good enough for a phone call! Outrageous!!! 1/9/18 attempted to call Mrs. [redacted] again no answer, unable to leave a message. The next time we heard from Mrs. [redacted] was on 2/22/18 when Mrs [redacted] contacted Neglected Repairs through our business website requesting a full refund for the $99 dollars.  She was informed via an email to contact angle's list for a refund as we cannot return fees that angle's list took.  From there Mrs. [redacted] Was contacted again by us on 2/28/18 by email which she replied to demanding us to pay all fees from [redacted] and return the $99.  3/14/18 Mrs [redacted] again requested a full refund. In our opinion, The company spoke with a lawyer to go over our rights.  Since the business attempted on numerous times to get a hold of Mrs. [redacted] with no responses from her, we also went out of the way after the 90 day expiration to get the job scheduled to complete the work.  When she again contacted Neglected Repairs on 2/22/19 7 months after the original purchase.  We are not required to nor will we provide a refund in full at this time.  She was offered a partial refund ($65) which is what the company received from [redacted] and she refused saying she wanted a full refund. At this point we will not even offer a partial refund. Respectfully
