I just wanted to send you a thank you note for the great service you provided! From the beginning I felt like I was in good hands with the quality of support I received from you! Also, I was thrilled that you were able to work around the issues that came up with the other Lender during the process! As far as the recent mortgage closings (Nov 14th & Dec 12th, 2016) everything went so smoothly and I wanted to let you know you handled things so efficiently and it's incredible to me that in a very short time you could accomplish what the Builder's preferred Lenders were unable to accomplish in over 2 months!

As you know, when I had dealt with the Builder's preferred lenders, there was always the sales angle whenever I worked with them. But, with you, I felt I was getting honest answers without the pressure of being rushed into making a decision. I know you have been my friend since the last 10 years and I realize that I may have pushed you to the edge at times previously because of my lack of knowledge about the process and I want to thank you for being patient with me always! The communication, professionalism and efficiency throughout the whole process was above and beyond! I will certainly recommend you to my friends!

I have two complaints from my loan with Neighborhood Lender. I was told I would be refunded my appraisal fee in the closing, and I could not see evidence of this in the paperwork . I sent multiple e-mails asking for this to be pointed out to me/explained where it showed I was refunded, and was either ignored or simply told it was there. Also, I was very close to the cutoff for not having to pay PMI, so I asked about it. (Every conversation I had was through e-mail, except one, so all is documented) I was clearly told that my PMI would automatically drop off after 12 months, with no cost to me. Well after 12 months (July 2016)I called the mortgage company and was told I would have to pay for an appraisal to see if the value was still high enough to drop the PMI. I Immediately contact Neighborhood Lender and they told me they would look into it. 4 months went by, in which I emailed them roughly 30 times to check on the status. I was either ignored, or told they were trying to get ahold of so and so. It should not take 4 months to resolve this issues...maybe a week...I used to work with mortgages and this would NEVER even be close to acceptable customer service. They never once reached out to let me know the status...I Should have emailed everyday. I finally told him I would file a complaint with the Revdex.com and he told me that I could go ahead an order an appraisal and they would reimburse me. So after additional months of paying PMI, during which they did NOTHING, I finally ordered the appraisal. They did reimburse me for the appraisal, but I asked about being reimbursed for the PMI for the months I was paying on it while they did nothing, when I could have just ordered the appraisal back in July... and of course, never got any response. I just feel I was told whatever needed to be said to get the deal closed. You would think the vice president of the company, who is the one who told me my PMI would automatically fall off with no cost, would know that is not a guarantee.
