We were contacted by the homeowner the middle of May 2015, this was over seven months from the time the roof was installedThe homeowner claimed the drywall tape had splits on the section of the house with vaulted ceilingsI asked the
homeowner to get bids (two) from a drywall company of their choosingBoth of their drywall contractors said, the splitting of the drywall tape was not caused from the installation of a new roof, there was no excessive weight put on the roof only the shingles needed for that section of roofThe holes in the wood sheathing on the garage sometimes happen when the shingles are installed & does not effect the life expectancy of the roof

Attached is a photo of the ceiling that fell and you can see that there was a repair done before to the area where the drywall tape is. Also the stain from the water leak also stops before the area that fell. Neighbors Exterior solutions will repair the ceiling and paint. Note
