Review: I purchased a brand new AO Smith residential gas hot water heater from [redacted] on 06/02/2011 for $2,675.00. The item number for the hot water heater is GPS 75 200. This unit was delivered by [redacted] dented. I complained of the dent and [redacted] signed off on the day on installment 06/02/15 that he guaranteed that this was a brand new functioning unit and it covered it 100%. However, it broke every year costing me approximately an additional $500 in repairs and time missed from work. Subsequently, the unit broke for good and I had to buy an entirely new hot water heater on 07/30/15 by [redacted] Jr. He verified that the unit installed by [redacted] was never vented properly, was too large of a unit for my house, and was truly a lemon. The new unit cost me $1950.00. The unit that [redacted] sold me was a lemon and I want to be reimbursed the $2,675.00Desired Settlement: I want to be refunded the full amount of the hot water heater $2,675.00
