Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:Chris has a lot of details, some of which are factual and some made up to support his reasons for keeping a portion of my deposit. We never agreed to any other costs other than a price for a kayak. He never mentioned nor did I agree to any shipping fees. He mentioned a delivery based upon the next container that he shipped over. No agreement , no signed contract outlining any of his eventual plan. He only deducted this shipping fee when I asked for my deposit back. He feels empowered to create agreements out of thin air and at no time did he inform me of a shipping cost deduction. Not in any conversation we had. Certainly not in the beginning. Not during the 6 months of waiting for a kayak and not when I asked for my money back. I only became aware after checking my statement. He did not have the guts to tell me that he was creating a deduction. No accounting for this transaction was ever given to me although I am sure he can and will make one up. He hides behind his littany of details but bottom line he agreed to deliver to me a [redacted] 2015 model kayak and could not. He cannot show you a signed agreement or contract because nothing exists. Surely this is what honest, up front businessmen do? Not Chris. When I asked to get my deposit back and only then did he devise this rip off. And as for me being upset, you bet I am. What a con artist. Who wouldn't be upset after he withheld over $700 of my deposit. Heck, I could have had the same kayak shipped from [redacted] kayak in Texas for $400. I never would have agreed to $700. His detailed listing of phone conversations is meant to distract everyone from the truth. Please Chris you unscrupulous man with no honor. Your such a person of detail. Please provide us with some written agreement, or contract or any document I signed or you and I signed agreeing to pay any shipping cost. All I am asking you for is my deposit back. I am not belligerent. It is you that initiated this mess and you should not make me out to be some maniac stalker. I am a physician, a professional and unlike you a very well respected and honorable man. You picked a fight with the wrong person. It's not the money that matters. It is your reputation
Sincerely,
