I had a Retainer wall put in by Lazo Landscaping company and they did an EXCELLENT job at a fair price, after getting five estimates. I get so many compliments on the retainer wall from neighbors and friends. I will be calling Lazo again for my next outdoor project.

I purchased a Blackwater long block in 2012. Had it installed professionally, and adhered to and documented all warranty related start up procedures. The engine preformed well for the first 15 months. Then our first problem came just as the warranty ran out. Head casket started leaking anti-freeze. Took the truck to local Cat dealer, to find out either the head bolts were not tight enough or the casket was not OEM, which caused the leak. Of course, Blackwater was notified, sorry out of warranty. They advertise using OEM parts, CAT dealer said it wasn't a CAT head casket. Also, further inspection discovered Blackwater installed a cylinder sleeve in #1 cylinder, and was not OEM product either, per CAT dealer. Also the cylinder sleeve had dropped an 1/8" in the cylinder, either from not being a CAT part or poor installation. Other items noticed by the CAT dealer at that time was, 2 valve stems were a little higher than the other 4, don't really know what happened there, but CAT dealer said it was not normal. Repairs were done, with no help from Blackwater, that total was $3000.00. Five months later, total engine failure, the engine drop a valve. Had it Towed to local Freightliner dealer ($300.00), they dissembled the top of engine to discover 2 valves broke loose and scared the cylinder walls. That bill was $2000.00, just to look at it. Dealer recommended new engine. I brought the truck back to Atlanta to local CAT dealer. Had new CAT engine installed. $24,000. with a 4 year unlimited mileage warranty. My experience may not be like yours, but I would not recommend buying any engine from a second party dealer. They just don't have the engineering, tooling, and experience the big companies have. You might think your getting a deal on the long block, but without a NATIONWIDE warranty, its worthless. My experience with Blackwater engines was not good, the product did not perform to CAT's suggested life cycle, in other words, engine life was short. Most engines in this category are suppose last to 500,000 miles. Blackwater engine lasted to 180,000 miles..... I could continue with this story, but I think you get the picture..
