In response to the above complaint, the customer came into our dealership looking to buy a car. He stated that he had up to 6000 cash to spend on a car. When he came in on /25/14, he said he was only able to put down 400 cash deposit, usually we require 500 cash. He then stated after the deposit was...

taken that he would need an additional 4 weeks to come up with the rest of the cash, which was 3300. After a few days he called and said he would like us to consider a vehicle for trade along with some cash. We told him that the original transaction did not include a trade, and it was only a cash deal. Since the deal was questionable from the start, the dealership decided to return the deposit money to the customer. Several calls were made to the customer, but his voice mail box was full. Because there was no response, the vehicle was sold to another customer. We returned the customer his deposit after a few days because he refused to sign an acknowledgement that we were returning his money. The customer was rude, and threatened the salespeople there were present this day. That same day, with a police officer present, that we called, witnessed him sign the acknowledgement and us giving him his deposit money back, because he was giving us a hard time.Sincerely,

This letter is to inform [redacted] and his wife, that when we mentioned "we" it was meant as Nellys Auto Sales, since the car is owned by the dealership. It is true that the owners were away that is why the pixilation on the [redacted] was not repaired, but the above mentioned buyers knowing the existing problem in which to fix the problem is only $302. Nellys Auto Sales has also received estimates, and we found a place that would fix it for $302 not $1500, which the customer stated. When we place a vehicle up for sale, we do a market comparison, in which there are two other vehicles in the area with like mileage and priced higher than our car is listed for. We have included documentation to support both the price to repair and fix the pixilation and the sale price of the vehicle. Again the customer knew about the price, and the pixilation before and they were here two times and still committed to the vehicle, We will no longer proceed with this back and forth" he said she said", because the couple mentioned above signed a statement that specifically states that if they walk away there deposit will not be refunded. At any given time, we do not pressure anyone to put money down on any vehicle.Inclusive we have copies of what you signed and it is stated that if you decided to walk away you would lose your deposit.

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THESE RUSSIA RIP OFF ARTISTS.These people are shady and obviously have someone that they payoff to pass inspections.I bought a truck at fair market price for $8300.I went to get my temp tag down the street and came back and found them messing with the taillight and they said it was out and they couldn't fix it and sent me on a two hour ride home. All I did was take the light out and put it in correct and it worked fine. They are obviously is I think to myself at this point. The truck looked good and ran good for about the first 30 miles.I live in Maryland so it's a two hour trip home and at about 30 miles down the road the service light comes on and it starts running like crap because of bad knock sensors my mechanic replaced and said that they had turned off the service light and ripped me off. Here is the list of problems I found after I started digging into it:Parking brake shoes are bad and brake doesn't hold at all and backing plates are completely rusted away and lots of the hardware is missing and that would never pass inspection in any state.Gas tank filler neck hose is missing and replaced by a rubber pipe and is illegal in all 50 states. All of the frame cross members are rusted away with big holes in them. All cab mounts rusted or missing completely also not going to pass inspection in any state. All four tires fail inspection and are rotting away. Spare rim under the truck is completely destroyed and would be a death trap to use and has a new or never used tire on it (weird) in my opinion they had to have seen that.Brake line have been cut where there was rust and replaced with rubber hose as well and also fails inspection.Differential cover is rusted and gasket is leaking.1000's of dollars in repairs I can't afford. These people will get what's coming to them if I have to spend every last dime I have to shut them down so they don't rip anyone else off.

DO NOT BUY A VEHICLE HERE.I BOUGHT A MINIVAN AND AFTER 1 MONTH CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON, TOOK IT TO THE DEALER AND THE MAIN PROBLEM WAS CATYLATIC CONVERTOR WITH A LIST OF MANY OTHER THINGS WRONG TOTAL COST 3800.00 AND OF COURSE NONE OF IT IS COVERED UNDER THE WARRANTY I PURCHASED, FOR THE PRICE I AM PAYING I COULD HAVE BOUGHT A NEW VEHICLE, THE DEALER ALSO SAID IT SHOULD HAVE NEVER PASSED INSPECTION!

Review: I purchased a Chrysler Concorde from Nelly's after looking at the [redacted] where no issues were reported. My father then had the car looked at by a friend. When he looked in the truck and peeled off the interior lining there was a rust water line and drain holes. We then found rust under the back seats that came from what ever flood this car had been. The following week my father and I visited Nelly's to report our problem with this slightly over priced car I bought. The dealer denied this car ever having been in a flood even after we showed her the former flooded truck and back seats. She refused to admit it was flooded. She then said there was a crack in the break light and that water from rain may have entered through there. But at the height of the water line it was impossible. She refused to do anything about the car.Desired Settlement: I am looking for equitable compensation for the car.

Review: On April 25 I went to Nelly's Auto Sales, and found a car I wanted to purchase. I entered into a Down Payment Agreement with the salesperson, [redacted], that included my down payment of $400, the vehicle VIN # [redacted], both our signatures, the balance ($3399) to be paid on May 23, 2014, and a statement included on the form "THIS LETTER IS TO INFORM BUYER THAT ANY DEPOSIT TO HOLD A VEHICLE WILL NOT BE REFUNDED IF BUYER DECIDES TO WALK AWAY FROM THE DEAL. BY SIGNING BELOW BUYER AGREES TO NELLY'S AUTO TERMS AND CONDITIONS." On May 3, 2014, I get a call from the salesperson informing me that the car I entered into an agreement to purchase had been sold.

When I asked why I wasn't called and perhaps given a chance to purchase the car quicker the Nelly's Auto reps. said I could have my money back or be put into another vehicle. The vehicle tgey had in mind was one I was adamantly against when initially searching their lot. In addition they were extremely rude and unprofessional in the manner in which this situation was handled.Desired Settlement: An apology, and a fair settlement of the matter which makes me whole.
