This cannot be a complaint against Nelowet Business Machines in Denver Colorado as the complainer Jeanette James Schaffer is not and never has been a customer of NBM.We did not sell her the HP EnvyRecline Touch Smart Computer, do not provide any warranty coverage for it, did not handle the support call and did not issue Case [redacted] .Please ask [redacted] to check her facts and stop wasting good peoples time on entirely misdirected complaints

The offer was as stated in the initial response ie to apply the coverage to the new equipment being proposed by us The old equipment was neither traded in or made available to us to retrieve unused supplies/parts or to verify usage data

The customer entered into an ANNUAL SERVICE CONTRACT starting in August 2015. The agreement included year or pages or service whichever occurred first. The billing in August paid for coverage for the upcoming coverage period and for copies made in
excess of the in the previous period. The ANNUAL contracts have no provision for prorated refunds as the expense for the supplies, parts and labor we provide are not linear, ie we provide these items in advance to be used though out the year or allotted pages. As a courtesy to customers that replace equipment through our company and trade in old equipment, we offer to transfer remaining coverage to new equipment purchased from us. In that way we are able to recover supplies and parts provided and unused and obtain an accurate accounting of pages used. This customer did not elect that option and we had no access to the equipment, unused supplies, parts or its usage data.

I am rejecting this response because: Via email on September 28, before paying the invoice sent to us for that annual maintenance contract, I specifically asked if we switched machines or companies (as you knew we were were shopping around at the time), if we would be charged on a pro rata basis and if the rest would be "refunded (if we go to another company) or applied towards a contract on the new machine." You responded that my understanding was correct
