Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint
I would first like to address the issue of the hitch There may be a sign that states "no hitches" However, I have never seen such a sign or ever had anyone say anything regarding our hitch We have been to this particular car wash with our hitch times before The back of the car was always cleaned with no issues I also have had family members who have entered with a hitch Again, no issues and the SUV was clean on the back I would like to request a copy of the complete video showing our Cayenne in going through the car wash at approx 1:pm on December 26th We are not concerned that it did not clean properly on the back It was mentioned to prove that something happened causing it not to function properly As stated, we have been through numerous times before with our hitch and had no problems with the back being cleaned properlyI do not disagree that the part fell off during the drying procedure However, I do think that it was pulled lose during the wash We heard a noise but thought that it was the back windshield wiper because it was not taped down Again, the panel that was pulled lose was not broken or altered in any way before the car wash We had just driven on the interstate at miles per hour and over bumps and hundreds of miles of highway with no problem The fact that the car is years old has nothing to do with the part coming lose When we examined it, some of the clamps had been broken due to being pulled out The estimate we have provided is just for the part and paint This does not include labor We just want it fixed and we are willing to do the work ourselves We really like Blue Sky Express Wash, however, we are very disappointed in the customer service and lack of taking responsibility for the damages incurred I am also disappointed at the fact that they stated they tried to call back in hours and my voicemail was full This couldn't be more false I was told that I would receive a call within 1/hours as soon as *** arrived on the location I told the associate working that would be great because we were leaving to go out of town on the next day I kept my phone on me, desperately waiting for a return call After not receiving a call back in over hours, I called and left a detailed message at 5:pm and then again at 6:pm I never received a response I have proof on my phone and have taken screen shots of all my missed calls as well as my outgoing calls to them with the times We would like the owner to take responsibility for the damaged caused by the car wash instead of making excuses to try an avoid dealing with the problem at hand
Regards,
*** ***

The customer entered the car wash with a trailer hitch on his vehicle (Our signage clearly notifies the customers that hitches are not allowed and are to be removed by the driver before entering the wash)As our security cameras show, our attendants retracted the large vertical spinning
cloth wraps so that the wraps would not be damaged by the hitchThis is standard procedure at ours, and most other, car washesIncidentally, this is the reason that the back of the car was not cleaned quite as well as the customer would have likedThe in-tunnel cameras also show that the piece of the vehicle in question (on the rear of the vehicle) came off when the dryers/blowers came on at the exit of the tunnelThe cloth did not cause a problem as it did not touch the rear of the vehicleThe airspeed of the dryers is equivalent to driving down the road at approximately mph'sAlso, we run approximately cars per month with no issuesWhy would our wash decide to pick on his vehicle? If a restaurant serves chicken dinners and only one person gets sick, then it's probably not the restaurant's faultLogic and the evidence supported by our cameras would suggest that the issue was with the ten year old vehicle, not our equipmentThe customer even stated that they had been through our wash many times, as if this would prove that the wash was at faultThis actually suggests that there must of been something wrong with the part on the vehicle because the many other times it came through there were no issuesWE would have been glad to pay for any damage that was the fault of our equipment, but this was not the case. Also, we attempted to call the customer within hours and the call was sent to voicemail where we were notified that the mailbox was full

I was injured at work and received a settlement as a resultThe initial check was in error, it bounced and I had to pay a returned check charge for their errorWhen I received my medical records, on the reverse side of my medical records were the medical records of another individual, including SS# which I am certain is a clear violation of HIPPAI did not receive compensation for the returned check charge and I am not sure if my medical records were sent to the individual whose medical records I receivedPerhaps someone who is experienced could retrain these inept individuals

[redacted],
By copy of this email I will ask [redacted] to forward to you snapshots taken from the video of the incident.
You will see in the photos, the vehicle entering the wash, followed by a few shots of the vehicle AFTER it has left the cloth wash area (trim pieces still attached), in the rinse area (again trim still attached) and finally in the blow dry area (where the trim detaches). The trim on this approximately 10 year old vehicle has most likely become aged and worn and would ultimately have fallen off at some point on the road. Unfortunately, for us it just happened to be in the tunnel of the carwash. Our blowers are the most popular in the industry and are factory set and are in perfect working order.
I understand why the customer would feel we are at fault but we washed nearly 400 cars that day with no other incidents. This is a case of a worn part on an aged vehicle. The problem lies with the vehicle, not the wash.
Thanks for your efforts in this matter.

I have had to deal with this company for years prior. I am trying to re-open for the third time after four back surgeries. My back now is significnatly worse with bulging discs and thinning of the spine (spinal stenosis). I have been to their doctor and my doctor and they both agree the case should be re-opened. In a letter dated 6/29/2015 Pamela R[redacted] claims "specifically I need to determine how Ms. A[redacted]' non-industrial conditions have affected her current conditon. I WAS an INDUSTRIAL accident to the right knee with a complex torn meniscus surgery. It makes things tough for me and the doctors when things are not stated correctly. Until they figure it out I am the one in constant chronic pain every day with my back. Suffering is no solution. She has even withheld authorizing my Avinza which is morphine. That is very dangerous and I have been taking it for years. Anyhow, I am very frustrated and don't understand why It's taking so long to make a determination of re-opening.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  I have reviewed the three pictures. So, it looks like there was tape on the back windshield wiper when we entered the car wash. However, upon exiting the car wash there was no tape on the back windshield wiper. This confirms that something did malfunction in the car wash. I had requested the complete video of the cayenne going to the car wash. These three pictures did not help with more than the tape being on the back windshield wiper as we entered the car wash.  Upon exiting the car wash there was no tape on the back windshield wiper. This confirms that something did malfunction in the car wash. I had requested the complete video of the cayenne going to the car wash. These three pictures did not help with more than the tape being on the back windshield wiper as we entered the car wash.  I would like to request again a copy of the video complete. Also. I am requesting a mediation to resolve this issue.
