I have reviewed the response offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear belowMr [redacted] is correct that it was not my [redacted] report, but it was my [redacted] report that was harmed by their inquiryMost of my information was obtained by the salesman when he copied it from my driver’s licenseWhen he asked for my SS number, I asked him about it affecting my credit reportAnd as I stated in my complaint, I was told it would be a “soft” inquiry which does not harm my scoreApparently both he and Mr [redacted] do not understand how credit inquiries workYes, they do affect the credit score and mine dropped points due to Nelson’s inquiry They deny doing a “hard” inquiry, even though it is clearly listed on my credit report, they have not had it removed, and did not send to me the gift card as they stated So I definitely reject the Business response Regards, [redacted]
