Complaint: ***I am rejecting this response because:
This is not about legal vsillegal practices it is about ethical business practices I accept the business not wanting to reimburse the $fee because maybe that could make or break the business(I don't know) but what I will not accept is a policy that only permits cancellation in person or via fax machine as if a phone conversation or email wouldn't suffice for the same purposes The whole reason I was charged an extra $is because the company refused to cancel my membership when I called the first time This is not standard practice in the industry and puts an undue burden on the consumer which is why I took the issue to the "Better" business bureau
I wonder why a company would require your physical presence to cancel anything? I can't think of a legal reason behind it other than delaying the process and hoping extra membership fees get charged
