Client stated it was his wife that was upset with the progress of the work and I stated (again) that we were working as fast as possible, but we are not responsible for weather and cannot apply torch down roofing during wet/rain., it will not adhere properlyAnother series of storms hit and as we always do, we double tapped with different layers of visqueneOwner then stated rear of home leaking, and was our faultHowever, we had not as yet been able to perform ANY work on that section when he complained of leaking, because roof was unstablele/rotten and posed serious risk (especially in wet)We could not walk on that section of roof for fear of falling throughWe informed that it would need re-sheathed, he agreedWe agreed to do for material cost at $per sheetHe agreed and said to move forward, "make it safe'We tried to install new sheathing but nails/joists would not line up to joist and rafter as roof had been installed with unpermitted, improper nails, not laid out as standard/required on 16"-24"on center, was not framed correctly, and plywood not installed horizontal (as required) but verticallyThe roof was sagging everywhere do to this unpermitted installationThe Client was present at any/all stages of workThe concrete roof was open to rain only because the roof had ALWAYS LEAKED because vents/pipes had holes drilled thru concrete and were never sealedThe visible signs of water damage inside the residence are NOT NEWThe water marks/stains are evidenced in layers, by years of unrepair and leakingit was not until the Client, Myself and HERO got together for a phone conference that client would agree to sign off on workHe was clearly NOT leakingPlease request HERO TAPED CONVERSATION where Client stated "happy with work and ok to Pay", after they authorized payment They tried to get us to pay their insurer for inside damage damages as well for, $When that didn't work, they started claiming that I threatened them? in forty years, I have NEVER, Ever threatened or harassed a client in any way shape or form and find this to be inflammatory and dishonestFurther, Please Contact Rick Beaver at the City of ElCajon Planning Department for verification that in fact, they are closed over holidays and further, our work was ALL SIGNED OF AS CORRECT AND PROPERNow their roof no longer leaks they want Me to pay for years of neglect and disrepair of their property and each time the amount is more moneyFurther the statement of my conduct on job site are clearly another way to try and get money for their lack of proper property repairWe have files, (over 50+ pages, photographs, documents from City that verify all work done as appropriateas well as each phone call, note or problem listed in this file, which we are happy to provide, as well as photos of tvs, fans, etc., all working properly and photos of years of water stains and damageWe will turn over all documents as requested to support our position)If this client continues to defame my name I will be forced to contact my attorneysWe are NOT responsible for a homeowner failing to take proper repair of property, nor the fact that they FORCED us to work during rainiest time of the year

The patch was already on the roof when R.Rconducted their inspection and issued a warranty I have proof if R.Rneeds to see it they can contact me. It is true that R.Rhas made several repair attempts, it's the quality of the repairs that are in question R.Rcould have avoided all of this and their costly if their had been some Q.Aby R.Rleadership At no point did anyone come to inspect on the work that was being done on my roof As a result my wall has substained water damage that R.Ris liable for. The plumbing vent is now not sealed all around the vent It was prior to R.Rrepair attempt There are shingles that aren't nailed down, they are just lying on the roof There are many areas in the valley of the roof that are not properly sealed and water is getting under the shingles The skylight had the sealing removed in one repair attempt and then left unsealed, then during the next rain storm I had a new and even bigger leak than before All of this could have been easily avoided if R.Rwould have made a quality repair the first time

you is? you would be remiss if you didnt complaint to Revdex.com or contractor board. Okay, but what is the complaint exactly? 2, the power strip came off wall. The person you held responsible offered to re-install - you declined and I offered to re-instait and you declined my offer as well #%< the solar panels were drained and with any weld system, some wate will siphon onto roof no matter what. but, no damage was done by small amount of water. That is one of the reasons I didnt want that aspect of job. But I think you are upset because some damage could have occured. 11, my solar guy took off panels only because your plummer wanted $700 to take off. As a favor to you we took off the weled panels. Even though I informed you I didnt want to do it as I didnt want to take on the responsibility.12, nails (not swept up) owner did have five different nails gathered and I apologized for that. We normally have a clean up crew after job finish that cleans grounds. This was not done as yet because see item 13 13, whirlybirds? owner asked me to purchase new whirleybirds for replacement. I replied okay but, we recommended dormer vents for a number of resons- no moving parts, more attractive look no water penetration, screened for wasps, flies etc to bar entry.. he replied okay, include on proposal. we changed out two turbine vents for two dormer vents and then owner instructed crew he wanted two more vents that were included on proposal. I told crew not to do any more work until I met with owner to discuss these two extra vents. When I instructed crew not to do anymore work, they assumed they would be coming back and that is why they never (or clean up crew) finished 100% clean up. 14, broke off light @ driveway? this might be possible as he states it was at end of driveway adjoing sidewalk. We offered to re-imburse for a new walkway solar light. 15, screw up tv aligignment? this satelite receiver dish was bolted through two layers of roof. we normally contact the dish company to come out and re-install correctly. Which is either through fascia or brackets holding joints or rafters. Through the roof is not proper procedure and satellite companies know this. However, they informed owner they would charge him to realign it through the shingles for a sight charge,. But would be a week later for schedule. I informed owner that I could line up by simply going on roof and him tell me when he received a perfect picture or I could have satellite installer on my payroll come out that day and re-align it at no charge to him. He stated he would rather wait until the 5th on next month for his dish company. In summation: we apoligize for any inconvenience during the construction phase of new roof install.
