The drs mean well, who manage the pain program, but I can never recommend the pain program for POTS. They are not well enough educated on the diagnosis to be treating POTS patients.

My child needed ear tube surgery and I bought into the fancy advertising, thinking Nemours would give him the best care. It was significantly more expensive than other local providers. After surgery he was still waking up from anesthesia, thrashing around and crying wildly when were discharged and sent out of the room to the pharmacy. I had to try to hang on to this wild child while waiting at their pharmacy for meds. No wheelchair or safety option provided. After the surgery it took MONTHS for the actual billing to take place. And then their website is a NIGHTMARE to navigate. All payments to providers are separate. They have no one who can help to combine accounts online and the information provided online is minimally helpful for making payments. There is something called "recurrent payment" which is their idea of a billing plan. Customer service is aware of this but had limited options to help. I regret the decision to take my son to Nemours and will NOT be using them again in the future. Take the time to research other care options in your local before choosing Nemours Children's Hospital.
