To Whom It May Concern,I was shocked to get a complaint like this when I have never had a problem with a customer since I opened my business over years agoI was dismissed from the job on Friday 6/2/and the money was refunded via certified mail the beginning of the following week.In
regards to the customers' complaint of being scheduled to do work on 6/2/17, I was en route to the job with all of the materials in tow and had already called to inform both customers that there was heavy traffic on Route and Route and that I was on my way.There was never a time scheduled to arrive at the job, but I kept in contact with them and told them and that I would be thereAt this point, the customer called me a liar and began cursing and screaming, "I want my money back!" I said, without raising my voice, "That's fine, you are entitled to your opinion, and what I can do is go back to my office, rewrite my bill for the work completed, and refund the rest of the money." He then hung up on meI received several threatening and harassing phone calls and text messages throughout the rest of the day and weekend, but continued to respond that they would receive their refund ASAP and requested an address to send the check (I did not want to meet in person to hand deliver the check due to the customer's aggression)Instead of an answer, I received more threats and an angry phone call from him on Saturday, 6/3/17, where I was told to "be quiet and listen" when I wasn't even speakingI again said that I would refund the money and hung upI then received a barrage of threatening texts and emailsI again requested an address to send the refund to and said I would send it via certified mailThe complaint was made to you about me not refunding the money before the customers even responded with an address for me to send the refund to.In regards to the other statements made, I fully kept up my end of the bargainI reported to the job on multiple occasions and went out of my way to get water on the job and sleeve piping in other areas so the masons wouldn't block me inI looked at the job with Joe and went over the house several times, even accommodating unbilled needs, such as searching for the well in the front.The billing is fair and unbiasedI had already reduced the price of the job once at the request of the customerThe bulk of the prep work had been completed and the well tank itself had a clear set price of $1,and was fully installed, so I'm not sure how the customers came up with a revised bill of $1,They were billed $3,for services rendered and I stand by that priceTheir refund of $5,was provided as promised within a few days.I am happy to provide any and all documentation; such as texts, emails, the signed certified mail for the check, and the revised billPlease let me know if you require any of this information and I can forward it to you.Again, I am shocked and dismayed by the these claims and have never suffered this kind of mistreatment and slander from a customer.Sincerely,Luke P***
