A wrong product advertised that took 3 months for them to figure out their mistake and weren't willing to rectify it.Our [redacted] office placed an order with them for a Root ZX II replacement battery for $27.96 back on 3/28/2014. We had not received the item so we called them and they redirected us to [redacted]. We called them and got them to resend out the battery. When we received it, it was the wrong battery (the tri-auto zx battery). We contacted them and they sent us a label to return it and said they would reissue the correct battery. We returned the battery and waited a month to see if the correct battery would arrive. When it didn't, we contacted [redacted] and they said it was back ordered but forgot to call us. They contacted the manufacturer and then called us back and said the product had the wrong description on net32's site. That it was in fact the tri-auto zx battery even though it was advertised as the root zx II battery. They told us if we wanted the root zx battery it would cost us $53 instead. This was almost 3 months after we had placed the order. [redacted] told us it was Net32's fault for incorrectly describing the product. When we contacted Net32 on this, they told us it was [redacted]'s fault and there was nothing they could do about it. No apologies for the huge mix up and the fact that we have been without a battery for 3 months. They refused to rectify the situation. [redacted] refuses to rectify the situation. No one will own up to their mistakes and correct it. We put so much ordering through them, and they clearly do not value us as a customer and do not care they have cost us so much for all the root canal therapies we have not been able to do because of the 2 companies mistakes!Desired SettlementWe just want the battery that we ordered. We do not feel it is right to have to pay twice the amount because of their mistakes and the fact they have cost us so much time and money.Business Response Customer ordered incorrect item. The description of the item was very well stated that it is the Tri Auto ZX battery, [redacted]XXXXXX, and that it only fits the Tri Auto ZX handpiece. No where in the description does it say that it will work for the Root ZXII. Upon receiving the item the customer notified Net32 of the issue which in turn we notified the vendor [redacted] of the issue. [redacted] sent the customer a return label for the item to be returned and then credited the customer the full amount once the item was received back. The customer was notified of the correct item that was needed, however the customer demanded that the $27.96 price for a battery that they incorrectly ordered be honored for the correct $52 dollar battery. To try to satisfy the customer [redacted] offered to sell the battery at their cost of $40 but the customer refused the lower price. The customer received the battery that they ordered, however it was not the battery that they truly needed. When both Net32 and [redacted] tried to resolve the issue and provide the customer with the proper battery the customer refused to pay the difference for the correct battery. Both [redacted] and Net32 would still like to correct this issue and will still extend the reduced $40 price for the customers error of ordering the incorrect battery.
