Response:
We started working 4 years ago with [redacted] doing the network and installing a server, 5 computers and a central telephone system with trunks lines over the internet. We offered them a service to maintenance all equipments installed and monitor a backup in a daily basis for $500.00/month. Dr[redacted] rejects this offer due to lack to afford the cost. As the [redacted] depends to the Internet, this office started to experiment issues because an unstable service of their internet provider ([redacted]). So she started calling us complaint about it. As a courtesy (without any charge) we supported them as IT to help her to solve every issue occurred with [redacted]. [redacted] was the only internet provider available for her office, so there was not a way to solve the problem until she gets a stable connection. In the other hand we can't continue commuting to [redacted] from my office in South New Jersey without any compensation. Finally, she decides pay to us $150.00 per MONTH for an IT remote service to covers unlimited time calls support and any computer's issue able to solve remotely in order to keep the office running. In the event that were necessary to be physically there we charged $150.00 per HOUR or a fix amount known in advance to avoid SURPRISE at the end. As everything, including electrical devices soon or later they will failed and it happens with the storage containing the office's data. Unfortunately there was not recently backup due that there was not body monitoring it. We recovered the data from the last backup available, but it was very old one. We reinstalled all back in a brand new storage (the old backup recovered,[redacted], a new upgrade for the EMR software that the office is using ([redacted]), interface ([redacted]) and we reinstalled in all clients (PC) this update) We are continuing doing any effort possible to recover the data on our own.
