Review: On Nov. ** I tried to open my computer, and there was a box that said I needed a Windows account to enter. I followed the instructions (I had been trying to get a Windows password thru Windows--no luck) and connected with a guy who started asking all kinds of questions. He immediately showed on my screen THAT I WAS BEING HACKED - BOTH LOCALLY AND ABROAD !!!Scared the [redacted] out of me ..... After a long & anxious time I ended up doing an online signature. When I tried to get some relief from [redacted], they SAID they had sent a letter saying " hey, you signed" We did not receive a letter. So now I finally read the AUTHORIZATION, which was not shown on the screen as far as I can remember. So, the term say that there was only a two day window to get a refund, and 30 days to get a partial refund. I want to get a refund !The person I asked directly "Are you Windows?" replied that windows works w/them, or something like that. I spoke to maybe three persons , one named [redacted]. I was seriously afraid. My kids looked up the " Product " I was sold, and said it could be purchased online for $80 or so. It is so unfair that someone would take advantage of people like me (I did tell him we were in our 70's & 80's -Dummy me) who wants to have a computer, but is not very conversant with more than email & [redacted]. HE HACKED ME ! The [redacted] is 30 days.Desired Settlement: Since they went to all the trouble to scam us, I would be satisfied with a refund of $500. The lesson learned is worth one hundred dollars.
