Network Capital Corp Reviews (3)

Review: On Thursday Jan 7th we were contacted by Network Capital about refinancing the mortgage for our primary residence. [redacted] from Network Capital, asked me a series of questions at that time, which included what I thought the value of our home was. I told her about $240,000-$250,000, which is less than the amount we owe at this time. That night she provided us a loan document that gave us a 4.25% rate on a conventional loan, as opposed to our current FHA. The loan program she suggested removed all of the Private Mortgage Insurance (PMI), which was the only reason we were interested in refinancing. She estimated the value of our home at $283,000 at that time. The agreement was that we would pay only for the appraisal and bring no money to closing.

On Jan 8th, we agreed to move forward with the terms she provided, and signed the disclosures for those terms. Once the disclosures were signed, [redacted], the sales rep, called and asked for my credit card to pay for the appraisal. I gave it to her based on our then current agreement.

[redacted] called back, and said that she had input some information incorrectly, and had given us the wrong rate. She had stated we were really going to get a 4.625%, and would be required to bring $700 to closing. We were not happy with this and were going to stop talks at that time. However, I had taken over negotiations at this point, and talked to [redacted] at Network Capital. [redacted] had agreed to waive all closing fees, including the appraisal, to keep the loan moving forward. The only thing we would have to pay is escrow. With this new agreement we would not be bringing any money to closing. We agreed and the appraisal came back at about 255,000. [redacted] then called to advise we were not qualified and offered to put us in a new FHA, which we declined. We found the appraisal fee on our card, and requested a refund. [redacted] refused unless we went forward with the loan.

More is documented and available upon request.Desired Settlement: I request the company to be aware of their sales reps bait and switch tactics, the hostage holding tactics, and that after I had requested never to be contacted by their company and all emails and phone numbers placed on the do not contact list, they continued to call for two days afterward. I only want monetarily to reverse the charge from my credit card.

Review: I was working with Network Capital on a refinance of my home for a lower interest rate. I gave them all the documents they asked for. They said checking my credit would not effect my score because the credit agencies know that consumers are shopping around for the best rate they can get. The agent told me he would talk to his manager about a cash out option I asked for. I didn't hear back from him. Some days later another agent calls saying if a file is not updated with a certain amount of days, anyone can follow up on it and I told him I was working with someone and he said, the agent didn't work their anymore. I had to go through the same process. This agent said, if your credit gets checked again, it won't hurt as long as its within 45 days. The same ting happens and yet another agent calls and this is the same as the others. The only reason I gave them another shot is because they said they could get me cash at closing. When the 4th agent calls, I told them I worked with Quicken Loans. Now I have 3 hard hits on my credit and they all had a 2 year expiration on them but this was months later when I got my free annual credit report. I file a dispute with Equifax and they said I had to call the company so they didn't do anything (probably because they are the ones who ran the check for Network Capital) I call Network Capital and the female I talked to said the should be gone in 45 days and I told her it says 2 years, she said that's not right and she would try to find out what happened and call me back. Never heard anything. I gotten five calls from them from different agents trying to get my business and none of them are calling to tell me they are working to remove the hits. This is crazy and unprofessional. I have 3 hard hits and nothing but lies and the run around. I was willing to settle on taken 2 hits of my credit but now after all the aggravation I want all 3 removed and for them to stop calling me every three days after I told them to take me off the listDesired Settlement: I want all 3 hard pulls removed from my credit report and for them to actually take my name and number off their list permanently and never call me again.

Review: This company calls us relentlessly for sales. They call every day all day, and at times repeatedly without any pause if you don't answer. This is a harassment. We have registered our number to 'do not call' list, however they don't seem to bother about checking and continue to call.Desired Settlement: Just need to stop their business practice, and stop harassing people.
