Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below [To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.]In the first response to the Revdex.com they claimed that "they gave our dogs puppy food at our (Four Paws) expense" because they were not eating their food well Now they are claiming they did not feed our dogs other food, AFTERI have pointed out their food allergies and that they cannot have other food or treats THAT ALONE IS A HUGE ISSUE! They are negligent, not only did our dogs both lose significant weight (and not from running around-especially not the older dog), they also got very sick and they were given food that they cannot have! Not once were we or our in town contact called during the stay, even-though it is obvious that there was a feeding issue if they felt the need to supplement our dogs diet Absolutely unacceptable.Our dogs were VERY SICK, and are still not well as of today They are eating again, but not as well as usual They are starting to get a little energy back, but they are still coughing and sneezing and much more tired than usual-especially the weimaraner who typically still has the energy of a young pup at years old We have to wait until next Wednesday the 26th to see if they have improved enough to forgo the additional testing (blood work and chest x-rays) on top of the $that we already spent in vet fees for their appointment on Monday because of the sickness that our dogs picked up at Four Paws As of today neither my husband not I had received a phone call from Four Pets owner, MrRobert A [redacted] as the General Manager, MsBobbie A [redacted] had stated he would be calling me when I spoke to her on Monday morning My husband just called and spoke to Mr A***, who was extremely rude He actually have the gull to state that the whole staff laughed when they read our complaint When asked by my husband if there was proof, such as video or photos of our dogs actually being well cared for and fed he laughed and then hung up on my husband! These people are sm I honestly have never dealt with any company who has treated a paying customer anything like what they have us I am so upset not only at what happened to my dogs, but that these terrible people are posing as pet lovers who will take care of your loved ones, when they are actually just jerks who will take your money, not take care of your pets and then treat you like garbage! I am again requesting a refund Our dogs were not taken care of! Regards, [redacted] ***

Just to correct the record...They owner wrote on their application that their dog was years old on 7/5/17We never gave their dog puppy foodMy staff was quite taken aback by her rudeness and actually shook up Jessie.We took excellent care of her dogs and went beyond the call to ensure they ate well because her husband said "they were not big eaters" We had dogs here every day during their stay and no other dogs got sickAs far as weight loss, that can happen because the dogs have unlimited playtime and extra calories are burned off compared to laying around at homeThe Weimerimer paced a great deal so I'm not surprised she came back thinnerWe always have food and water in the kennels in the morning and at nightThere are always water stations during the day outsideThere was clearly nothing we did that would have made her dogs sickMaybe the different surroundings and or separation anxiety made them feel bad, certainly not because of our careIn nine years, I have never gotten a complaint such as thisI hope her dogs are well by nowI don't believe she is due a refund

I was able to speak with my staff who directly worked with the two dogs while they stayed hereThey were able to give me very specific detailsFirst, both dogs were fed twice per dayThe first two days, they ate half their food so my staff mixed in baby food (at our expense) to make it more palatable and it was finishedWhat the owner doesn't realize is that our dogs at Four Paws have the opportunity to play all day outside with the other dogsAs a result, many dogs loose a few unwanted pounds, entirely due to excersizeAll our customers know this and think it is greatThey also know their dog will sleep for a day when they get backSecond, her older dogs is years old (based on the vet records) and she got special treatment with an extra nap time during the dayThe owner accused us of not giving her dogs waterThis is ludicrus! Anyone can look out our windows and see water stations everywhereThe dogs also all have water and food bowls in their kennel each night.The Weimarimer was a sweet dog and paced a lot outside(which is pretty standard with that breed)As far as rudeness, after the owner unleashed F Bombs to my staff things were probably not going to get betterShe was told the owner would be happy to speak with herShe never calledOverall, I couldn't disagree more By the way, there two staffers who gave me this input are in college and studying to be vets

For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I was actually quite kind to Jessie (the young man who answered the phone initially when I called today), I simply asked to speak to someone else who could assist with an isspassed me along to a woman who very quickly stated that she would need to have the General Manager call me I had no issues with either of them and didn't get upset with them as they were not in any way rude to me Whoever responded is now stating that they gave my dogs puppy food-I SINCERELY hope that is not true as my dogs are on a special diet as they both have food allergies All of this was in their paperwork, it was stated that they could only have the food and treats that were sent with them! If there were any issues at all with my dogs eating or otherwise they should have contacted us, my husbands number was on the paperwork as well as my father, *** *** who was the in town contact in case of emergency We were only a few hours away and would have glady left our vacation early to ensure that our pets were taken care of! My intial concern was with my dogs care and them being ill, but obviously the customer service complaint with MsBobbie A*** the GM came in to play after speaking to her as she asked me a question and then talked over me, talked in circles about how my dogs are thin from so much exercise-doubtful as my weimaraner is well exercised at home and my other dog is so old and fat (well used to be fat) that she will lay day on the sidewalk on a short walk in the neighborhood MsA*** yelled at me, refused to help me and told me that I was "pissing her off so she wouldn't talk to me, but she would have the Owner contact me" and also said "your dogs are sick, wah, wah wah" at that point I was so angry I did tell her to *** off and hang denying it I have worked in customer service and managed large teams and taken MANY upset customer calls, I would have been fired if I had ever acted half as rude as she was to me today During my attempt to speak to MsA*** I repeatedly tried to explain that I was not claiming they didn't attempt to feed my dogs, simply they either didn't eat or didn't eat well and had lost significant weight in the week they were there and are now sick on top of that I never once stated they didn't offer water or that my dogs wouldn't drink there...I stated that my dogs were sick upon pick up and are not eating or drink at home since pickup My dogs are both very sick, they are coughing, sneezing, have nasal drainage and fevers! I had to take over hours out of my day today to make an emergency appointment for my dogs to be seen as they are still not eating and refusing water and ice for hydration I spent $today and was told if my dogs aren't better in days then the blood work that was taken today will be ran and additional tests such as x-rays would need to be done as well In addition I am unable to have my dogs around any other dogs for weeks-what an inconvenience in the summer! Invoice attached for proof of expense.I'm not sure why they are arguing my dogs age, as if they know my dog or that it matters My older dog was rescued over years ago and is estimated to be 13-as the vet that saw her at the time she was rescued estimated her age to be roughly at that time-obviously there weren't records for her prior to her being taken in by us Trust me she was not a puppy years ago!As I stated in my initial complaint I am seeking a refund for the services (or lack there of) for the following reasons:My dogs were not well cared forWe were not contacted when we should have been We now have very sick dogs and have incurred over $in vet feesI am missing work to care for my sick dogsWe may have additional vet costs if they aren't better within days

As far as weight loss, that can happen because the dogs have unlimited playtime and extra calories are burned off compared to laying around at home. There are always water stations during the day outside. There was clearly nothing we did that would have made her dogs sick.
