Complaint: [redacted])
I am rejecting this response because:  After my initial complaint, the truck did not start the next morning, I drove it home and parked it  , I contacted  Brandon and he wanted me to pay for more parts he did not know if I even needed. He did not replace the original broken connections in the first place and put the part on with zip ties.  Brandon also called and informed me that if I bought another part from the Ford  Dealer for $350 he would put it on my truck. After paying this man nearly $800 for nothing, I did tell him I did not have money to purchase another part that we did not even know if it needed it. The diagnostic test did not say it did. ( 2 long diagnostic test). Also are the diagnostic test printable? I never  saw one.   As far as the used FICM , I did not ask him for one, he brought it up and he did not lend, he sold it to us.  His FICM was 2 years older and very used so I asked for mine back, Also mine did test OK after  the first diagnostic test  and ran for 3 weeks until the zip ties they put on it broke.  I specifically  asked them to replace the broken connections and they did not.  Bottom line is I paid this company close to$800 and  the problem was not fixed. I have since had the truck fixed and it runs perfectly.    I am still disputing this situation with my credit card company for the last $438 for the repairs they did not perform.  I am a older single lady living on a fixed income and I did not have money to spare. I pay my bills , just as I paid him the first $300. I felt he should of stood by his job and mad sure the connections were replaced like I asked him.  If you take you car to the shop to have the oil changed and they do a diagnostics test but do not change the oil, and charge you $300 then the car brakes because the oil was not changed the shop should not charge another $800 to change the oil and then not do it. Regards, thank you very much.

To whom it may concern, I Nancy G[redacted] Representative for Neudorf Enterprises LLC am responding to a complaint submitted against our companyID of [redacted]. [redacted] first had her 2003 Ford F350 6.0L towed into our shop in June of 2015. The truck would not start and run. A Diagnostic Scan was...

performed to determine cause of intermit no start. Codes were found and cleared as stated on Invoice#[redacted]. Codes did not return vehicle started right away and continued to start and run perfectly. With out any more codes setting. Preformed Wiggle and connection test could not find any rose or bad connections. Two of three plugs on fuel injection control module had broken retaining clips which is extremely common on this vehicle. Plugs were then secured using zip ties which is also an extremely common practice due to the breakage of the retaining clips which is also a extremely common problem on this vehicle. Vehicle continued to start and run good. Customer was called she came in paid with credit card picked up her vehicle, Brandon spent a lot of time answering questions informing Ms. [redacted] about her vehicle and problems that this truck is prone to have which has been the subject of a class action law suit against ford and international for reliability and repair issues. At this point Brandon informed ms. [redacted] of the cost to have FICM rebuilt and repair broken retaining clips, also installing new IPR valve she was also informed that there could still be issues with this truck if these things were not taken care of. At this point Ms. [redacted] made it clear that she did not have time or money to spend on this truck to diagnose or fix the deeper issues. She stated she just needed it to run. On September 10, 2015 [redacted] contacted Neudorf Enterprises LLC stating that again her 2003 Ford F350 was doing the same thing and would not start and run. Ms [redacted] talked with Brandon and wanted to know if there was anything they could do because truck would not start. Brandon informed her that just as before her FICM was borderline good and it could be failing along with the IPR valve could be failling. She asked if we had a FICM that her husband could install and try. Brandon spent a hour locating the FICM he had so that they could try it. Brandon meet with her husband and gave him the used FICM to try. They installed the FICM but could not get the truck to run right. She stated that she would like to have truck towed back to the shop,we informed that would be fine. We were very busy but would work on it as soon as we could. The truck was delivered to the shop. The same process of diagnioses was repeated. Codes were cleared and recorded as follows on Invoice# [redacted]. The truck started and ran but had a very rough idle and smoke from exhaust. When truck arrived it had the original FICM in it so we removed it and installed the test FICM. The truck ran smoother with less smoke. Test drove the truck it ran fine, & started good no codes. Informed Ms [redacted] that the truck needed additional repairs. She told us she was going to send her FICM off and have rebuilt & she asked if we could leave our test FICM on there. So the used FICM was sold to her for $100.00 per her request. she stated that she did not have the money right now for additional repairs. She was coming to get it because she needed to use it. Ms [redacted] came paid her bill and we disgust that she was going to have her FICM rebuilt and we would install a IPR valve at a later time when she could afford it. She drove the truck away.
