This is in response to the response from *** *** from my initial responseShifman Mattress has inspected the mattress and found it not to have a manufacturing defect but only wear and tearThey will do nothing for this caseMillspaugh Furniture picked up the mattress from *** *** and sent it to Shifman Mattress and then picked the mattress up at shifman Mattress then redelivered it to *** ***Millspaugh Furniture's offer is to have *** *** purchase a replacement mattress only for $rather than the replacement price of a new mattress which would be $or to have *** *** continue using the original mattress which Shifman Mattress did not find defective based on their inspection

Also, its a warranty for years replace or repair - they have offered to do either, I think the mattress should be replaced This mattress is also the kind the you can flip over so you would not see an indent if it occurred When you flip it over the hole is already on the other side which Jill did witness Millspaugh acknowledge that they would stand behind the problem not charge me The years is still not up

Millspaugh to believe there may have been a defect. If Shifman had identified a defect their warranty states they would replace or repair the mattress at their discretion. Since no defect was identified Millspaugh redelivered the mattress to [redacted] as she asked. It is rare that a manufacturing defect is found in a Shifman mattress. Because of this Millspaugh Furniture offered [redacted] to purchase a replacement mattress at $285 even though the mattress set has performed to factory expectations for the 5 years of use. Millspaugh Furniture believes that the new mattress offered would provide [redacted] with 5 more years of use. Millspaugh Furniture feels this is a very liberal offer knowing [redacted] as benefited from the use of the mattress set for almost 5 years.
