Review: I called to schedule and appointment and was called into work on short noticed and did not call to cancel my appointment. The staff person that scheduled the appointment stated I would not be able to have my appointment until they receive the paperwork back that they would be mailing me. I never received the package from the doctor’s office. Sometime later I received a bill in the mail for about $125.00. I wrote the office back by disputing the charge because I was never made aware of their cancelation fees nor did I receive papers in order to have my appointment. The letter came back to me in the mail with a penalty fee bringing the bill to $213.00. I called back stating I would not pay the amount because I feel it is extortion and fees are blown way out of proportion for a cancelation fee, especially for a single mom. The person on the other line stated " it really doesn't matter what I say or whether I was told about there cancelation policy, that I am still responsible and she has record showing I acknowledge the bill and will have to pay it no matter what I think, Thanked me and told me to have a good day. I am continuously getting letters that now have been escalated to an Attorneys office which I feel is now harassment.Desired Settlement: Cancel the bill and Stop contacting me. They should start making callers aware of the cancelation fee or change it so that it is more reasonable for people. With todays economy who can afford to dish out over 200.00 and have not receive any services.

Review: I had to cancel an apt. with this company in less then 24 hrs because I had to have an emergency EKG on my heart at the hospital. They are charging me $207.50 and sent it to collections. I called their billing dept. 3 times and left messages. I got no response! I called three times today and the women in billing hung up on me three times! I asked her "if I was killed in a car accident would I be billed for not showing up?' And her response was "YUP!!" Very nasty women. I couldn't even talk to her because she kept lying that she called me back when she didn't! So instead of her doing and job and dealing with helping me she just kept hanging up on me. I am not paying this bill and want it removed from my credit report and the collection agency.Desired Settlement: I want this bill removed from the collection agency and off my credit report. I am not paying for a bill that was for an appointment that I didn't go to plus couldn't attend because of a situation out of my control. They are unethical!
