Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that the response would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.[Provide details of why you are not satisfied with this resolution.]
I have never spoken to Jill. She did not return any of the 3 calls I made to the hotel beginning on Monday 3/15/16. I spoke to a lady who Identified her herself only as the front desk manager and told me Jill was to busy to get on the phone twice on Tuesday 3/16/16. The front desk manager told me when Jill had time she would release the hold on my debit card and it could take up to 48 hours to post back on in my checking account. It is now Friday 3/18/16 and the funds still have not posted back to my checking account. Jill has never called me back. At this point the Comfort Inn Hotel has my $110.88 in cash and at the very least is holding my $110.88 from my checking account as well. I just want my money back at this point and will not be satisfied until I do. I stay in hotels all over the country all most every weekend and have never had this problem until know.

I spoke with Mr. [redacted] on 3-15 regarding the charge to his Visa.  We actually did not charge his credit card but authorized it. It would have shown up as a "pending charge" on his bank account.  I was off on Monday 3-14 but spoke with Mr. [redacted] on Tuesday.  Once I researched that he...

did in fact pay cash I voided the authorization to his Visa.  If this is a debit card his bank can take up to 10 business days to drop the authorization.  See below for details showing the void for the pending authorization to his Visa (please don't post that section of this letter).  When a guest checks in it automatically authorizes the credit card for room charges, when a guest pays cash or changes payment type the original authorization charge must be manually voided, I do apologize this wasn't done in a timely manner.  Please allow 10 business days for your bank to drop the pending authorization charge, if you still see the charge I would be happy to contact your bank.
