Nevada Comprehensive Pain Center Reviews (%countItem)

Made and kept an appointment with Dr. Leon *** on 17 Oct 2019. After examination, he recommended a procedure with which I agreed. He told me someone would get in touch with me within a week. I waited two weeks (in pain) and never heard from anyone. Over the next two weeks, I have left SEVERAL messages on no less than four different voice messaging systems and NO ONE had returned a single call. Today, 19 Nov 2019, I called the office again and asked to speak with Dr. Perel and was told I could not speak with him, but could speak to a medical assistant. I asked if one was available to speak with so I would not get sent to another voice mail system and was told by Stephanie (the person who answered the phone when I called the office and to whom everything was explained) that the assistant was available and was waiting for her to transfer me to their phone. The transfer took place but not to a medical assistant, it was ANOTHER voice mail system. I then hung up and called my insurance company to see about changing the referral to a different doctor and subsequently found out that Dr. Perel and company NEVER submitted a request to the insurance company to approve the recommended procedure. So, if you decide to go with these people, you had better BE IN LOVE WITH YOUR PAIN, because your chances of getting it resolved or lessened is slim at best. Realize that NCPC's Vision Statement of "Deliver leading pain management services to improve the health of those we serve with a commitment to excellence." and their Mission Statement of "Transform the pain management experience by creating a culture of excellence, quality, service, safety, and innovation; while becoming a best place to receive care, practice medicine, and work." are nothing but a bunch of words with absolutely NO substance to support them. The location I was initally seen is located at *** Smoke Ranch Road, Las Vegas, NV XXXXX but is not listed in the Revdex.com database.

I have been a patient here for some time now and have been treated with comforting and respectful staff as well as being treated by Doctor Grant K who has been the best and most efficient Doctor with the diagnosis and treatment for my personal health care! I would recommend this Doctor and Office location in the future care needs to anybody who is looking for the best Pain Management specialist and Staff support that Las Vegas NV has to offer!
At 54 years old, I just don't see myself ever needing to go anywhere else!!
Sincerely and Respectfully
Mrs. Christina

TREATED LIKE THE ONLY REASON I WAS THERE WAS TO GET DRUGS FOR ILLEGAL ACTIVITY. AND UTTER DISREGUARD FOR CONDITION BY ALL STAFF AND P.A. ONLY PERSON WHO TREATED ME WITH ANY DIGNITY AND TRIED TO HELP RELIEVE PAIN WAS THE ACTUAL DR. HIMSELF.

Employee took cash payments for copays and did not give receipts, now we're being charged for the money we already paid.
Pon 3/28/2018 I saw the doctor and I paid a $30 copay. I was not given a receipt. On 8/10/2018 my husband saw the same doctor. He also paid a $30 cash copay and got no receipt. They are now billing us for those copays that we already paid. I suspect the employee stole the money. We have to go back to this doctor but they want treat us unless we pay AGAIN for those past services.

Desired Outcome

They need to discipline the employee, place camera at the desk and require that a receipt be given for EVERY transaction. And we want these bills removed from our accounts.

Consumer's account was sent to collections for failure to pay. On 8/27/18, consumer sent us an email alleging that she paid at time of service, in cash, was not given a receipt, and that our employee must've stolen her payment. An internal investigation was conducted. As a courtesy, we credited the patient's account on 9/4/18. The collection agency was advised to close the account and to delete any negative reporting, if applicable. Consumer was advised. We therefore believe this matter to be resolved.

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
They stated that on Sept 04,2018 they advised collection agency to close the account and that they had credited my account. On Sept 22, 2018 I received a letter from the collection agency that was dated Sept 05, 2018.

We reverified with the collection agency today that the account was closed in their system on 9/4/18. The letter that the consumer received dated 9/5 was already in process before we notified them to close the account on 9/4. This account was not reported to any credit bureau and we consider the matter resolved.

Received a referral from my Primary Dr. for this company. I called sat on hold for 25 minute. Then got 20 questions cause it was a car accident. But it was going through my health insurance. They wouldn't except this as my payment. Transferred me to a lein department without telling me and went straight to a voicemail. Had to call back again waiting 20 min more. Then to be told I had to leave message they would call back. 3 days later no call back. I called back after being on hold again for 20 min. Got the run around. Then a person started asking questions again. Once again there is no attorney this is going through my health insurance. She asked who my car insurance is through. I said *** she said we won't take you. I said this is going tgrough my health insurance HPN Medicaid. We won't take you cause you gave ***. I asked for her name and she hung up on me. Horrible people. They are trying to force someone to get attorney. This isn't right. No wonder they gave an F rat
