This is in reply to a message received
on or about October 31, in regards to your file with Nevada National Adv

You entered into a signed contract with
our company to assist in the release of your timeshare contract/membership

are not done with itNowhere on the contract is there a closing date
guaranteed as each file has a different closing time based on many different factors
We both know that one of our contracted attorneys
had already negotiated the release of your timeshare, but you decided to
decline and deal with the resort yourselfAfter that fell through on your end,
you are blaming us for your mistake after you admitted to us that you interfered

by a sales person because I also put this on a site called ripoff.com I have a text message where he told me he would TRY to help me get my money back if I would remove that from the siteHowever, that site does not allow you do so but provides an area for a rebuttalTried to send him an email about the situation but it bounced back to me
I have sent this complaint with this company to several in hopes that others like me would view it & not be taken in such as II did recieve a reply from one company that was did hear back from Nevada National, which they explain that they offer to give me back all but 30% of my payment which is trrueI felt that
the contract with them was not binding since it has my daughters name & mine on the contract which she did not signThere are three other parties plus my self on the Timeshare contract that we would need to have sign forms & to the best of my knowledge only one may have done soThey have told this other company that their lawers are already working on resolving our contract with our Timeshare as this timeI do not see how that can be if no forms have been signed givng them the power to do soI can provide copies of the contract which show on one copy that 10-days cancellation 0% would be charged to me & on a pink copy it shows 30% would be chargedThere are other sites that where consumers have used Nevada National for the same thing such as I & have not heard back from them either
I tried to put this information on my current complaint but could not figure how to do so Is there any way to upload copies of my contract for you to view?

Ms. [redacted],

Our cancellation policy is quite clear on the contract and clearly states that you had 1-10 days to cancel without penalty and up to 20 days to cancel with a 30% cancellation fee. You clearly advised us during our last phone conversation to continue working on your file after you were past the cancellation time. We continued to process your file as per your request and have already paid for the attorney. Seems like that wasn't satisfactory being that instead of reaching out to us with a written letter, you opted to go through other venues which we do not appreciate.

With that said our contract is very clear, we admit to no liability or wrong doing what so ever. The contract was not cancelled within the time allotted and therefore there is no refund anticipated at this time.

If you have questions please call us directly at 866-822-5564 to address your questions accordingly.

Sales person called me wanting me to remove statement I made on ripoff.com said he would help me get my monies back if I would remove statement from site. I am not able to do so.

I am going to try & attach copies of contract to this email. I have one copy that shows 0% cancellation fee to client & another that shows 30%.  Contract states 2 clients [redacted] & [redacted] with only my signature.

We signed on with this company Aug.,2014, with the intention of being released from 2 separate timeshares. In late 2015 we did get released from one of them, but are still waiting on info about the second one. They are not good about communicating like they said they would and when you call you get the run around. I called 3 days ago and talked with a service rep who said they were in the process of moving and she couldn't get into the system to check my file. l called today and I get some crazy recording to leave a message. I also paid big money to get this done. Looks like I am out a good portion of it. I did happen to find the phone number to the law office who did send us something once in a while so I called and left a message. Hopefully they will respond. Otherwise, I might have to find a lawyer to make that call for me again.

I would NEVER recommend NEVADA NATIONAL OR AVI to anyone! Although I doubt that makes a difference to them.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
I don't feel that I interfered by speaking to the timeshare that I own when they called me. During the conversation I told them my intention was to cancel my ownership. Upon hearing that they told me what steps needed to be taken. I advised your company while all this time we were both waiting for Mr. [redacted] who dropped the ball and did nothing. Now 6 months later and additional maintenance fees are due, you want me to start over with another attorney and I don't feel this is satisfactory or fair to me. Even tho we have a contract, I feel the customer should receive some satisfaction from your services.
The company American Vacations International that gave the presentation and sent the work to your company doesn't even agree with the way my contract/service is being handled.  Never was I told it would take this long. I feel this is a company taking advantage of a senior person, on fixed income, trying to delete some expenses that I can live comfortable with my pension with my disability.

RE: [redacted]
This is in response to the letter received by our office on or about October 24, 2014, in regards to
Ms. [redacted]. We appreciate the opportunity to respond to this matter.
We have carefully reviewed this file and find that this consumer signed a contract in person with a
representative at a live seminar that they assisted to on September 12, 2014. We have had numerous
conversations with this consumer, latest one being October 6, 2014. During such conversation, we offered
the cancellation of the file minus the 30% fee that we would charge being that it was passed the cancellation
time allotted. However, during the same conversation Ms. [redacted] asked us to not cancel, to continue
working on the file. In the consumer's statement to you, she admits that she has been in touch with our
company so there is no truth to "can no longer get in touch with them".
We are performing all responsibilities outlined in the signed contract. At this point, we have already paid
outside [redacted] to work on this file. We are not giving any refund based on the terms of the signed
contract; see term #10 and #11 below and in tfie copy of the signed contract enclosed with this letter.
"10. Once the company has commenced working on your file, and has begun the process, of
cancelling your resort membership/contract, Client agrees that it will not seek to dispute the fee
paid to Nevada National Adv. Inc. without first contacting us in writing to review ... "
"11. You may cancel this transaction, without any penalty or obligation; within 1 to 10 days from
the above date. Any cancel request from I 0 to 20 days will require a 30% cancellation fee from
Client. No cancellation will be accepted after 20 days of entering into the agreement with Nevada
National Adv. Inc."
With that said, we never received a cancellation from Ms. [redacted] in writing within or after the allotted
cancellation time. She never abided by the cancellation policy clearly outlined in the signed contract with
Nevada National Adv. Inc. Our company has many satisfied customers and do not appreciate the false
accusations.
Sincerely,
Nevada Nat Adv. Inc.

Review: We signed a contract with NNA and paid $7000 last year to get out of our timeshare. It still has not been finalized and I am now finding out that it is a possible scam.Desired Settlement: please contact them and get this matter settled

Dear Mr. [redacted],

Review: This company sent me a mailing about being able to get me released from my Timeshare, which has other parties on the deed. I gave them $4584.00 via my [redacted] after attending a meeting at [redacted] At my daughters request we did some looking into this company & found a web site where others were talking about this company, & not hearing from them again after giving X amount of monies. I called them & requested to be released from the contract & asked them to refund my card. They told me that they would keep 30% of funds, which I have conflicking papers showing this, since it had been more than 10 days. I feel this company is just another scam, & so do the others that are partners with me in the Timeshare.Desired Settlement: I am not able to to get the forms they requested signed as partners do not wish to do so. I just want my credit card refunded the full amount of $4584.00.

Ms. [redacted],

Review: On 3/10/14 I signed a contract with Nevada Nat'l- attorney referral program. For $2500. assign an attorney to represent me in cancelling my timeshare. It was promised 8-16 weeks this would be complete. The attorney never contacted me. In July when I started inquiring about the matter after my timeshare contacted me about the maintenance fee due, I found out from them in April an attorney sent a letter, they called the attorney and explained the document filing fee was all needed to cancel. This attorney dropped the ball and now this company wants me to start over with an attorney. It has now been 26-27 weeks.I feel I am due a partial refund for services paid for that I did not receive. I no longer wish to do business with this company.Desired Settlement: I want $1500 of my money refunded. $1000 to the company for the attorney's attempt.

This company promised to release us from a timeshare from a timeshare company in North Carolina over a year ago. They promised to keep in touch on the progress and have the cancelation done within a year. We paid a large fee for this service. None of this has been done and they communicate with us very little. I could not recommend them. We will be hiring other legal council to get our fee back from them.
