Review: Brokers lied about lease terms and had about 4 different brokers at firm office pushing about signing a deposit contract with management, assuring me that unless the lease terms were agreed upon by both parties, the contract would be null and void.

The terms were not agreed upon but management has not refunded deposit and brokers have given me the runaround in regards to the refund. Nevo holdings has falsely advertised, lied, avoided, and pulled a bait and switch in terms of what was agreed upon. I want my money back ($1,575.00 security deposit) and for brokers to be held accountable for their bad business practices. I would also appreciate a $150 application fee refund considering all the trouble and stress I have been under.Desired Settlement: $1,575.00 security refund, plus $150 application refund for the trouble.

Review: In September 2015 I gave a Nevo agent $300 cash to *hold* (not apply for) a rental unit in Brooklyn. At the time of providing the $300 cash, I was told verbally by this unscrupulous agent that I would have a day to think about whether I wanted to proceed with the full application. When I later contacted the agent to tell them that I no longer wish to proceed with the application, I was told the application had "Already been submitted" and that I had forfeited the $300. This is not possible as my application materials were incomplete and there was no indication of my credit report being pulled for the application.Desired Settlement: It would be great if I could receive a refund of my $300.
