New Absolute Dry Clean

Review: I had sent out my dry cleaning and laundry for wash and fold on Friday, May **, 2014. I called New Absolute to have it delivered to my apartment on Tuesday night, June [redacted]. The delivery came with only my dry cleaning and told me there was no laundry for me. I called the store and was told that my laundry was not there. They told me they would look to see if it was at their other location. It was not there and they proceeded to tell me they would check to see the doormen in the location and see if the delivery was made to the wrong address. No apologies were made to me or comments to ease my mind. It was not like a sock or two was missing, but an ENTIRE load of laundry. Surely, there is a way to track deliveries/pick-ups made from the day I had put in my order to the day I asked for it to be delivered to my home. I went the following day on Wednesday, June [redacted] to go to the store and talk to the clerk in person. He proceeded to tell me that doormen were still being checked. No word on the [redacted], still no apologies, and nothing on telling me I would be compensated for any damages or loss. I gave them 2 days to find my laundry and hoped that someone just accidentally picked up my load and would return it. Either way, no one was tracking my laundry or making sure it went to the correct location. I told the clerk to tell the [redacted] to give me a call so I can speak with him, no word on him yet. This is not the way to run a business. A serious matter, such as losing a whole load of laundry is just negligence on this business. I have not been given any rest to mind or any sort of offer for compensation in the case my laundry truly has gone missing. For someone who has been using this service for MONTHS, I should at least be given some kind of attention and more assistance instead of just waiting around hoping for someone to return the load.Desired Settlement: I would like more effort in the search of my laundry. I feel like I have only been brushed off every time I call for updates on the search. If New Absolute does not put any effort, I am asking to be compensated for the amount in dollars for the clothing I have lost.
