My car was towed by courtesy tow after being on a city street in Brisbane for more than 72 hours. I was on vacation. That is where the fun begins.
To start off:
- Towing itself is $300
- Daily fee for your car being on the lot: $97
- Pickup Fee: $150
- After 5pm (I was there at 5:02): $150
On top of all of those fees:
- You cannot call them directly. They have an answering service that will let them know to call you. Then they call you from a Restricted number so that you can't call them back.
- There is nowhere to file a complaint. The man at the desk wouldn't give me any number except the pickup service.
- Your car will be FILTHY. Mine had raccoon paw prints all over it.
- They will not get back to you. I called several times when I got back into town and was told they would have someone call me. They never did and they charged another $97 for another day.
This is the most dishonest business I have ever dealt with. I want everyone to know to never do business with them if at all possible.
