Kindly accept this letter as a response to your inquiry dated April 24, bearing the above captioned ID number
While it would certainly be helpful to our position to provide you with a detailed explanation of the circumstances giving rise to this complaint, we are unable to
discuss the matter with youThis case, as acknowledged in your letter, involves "Mental Health/Behavioral " services provided by New Behavioral NetworkSuch services and the records generated in connection with their delivery are highly confidentialThe disclosure of any information in any such record is strictly governed by HIPPA laws and regulationsWe would be in clear violation of the laws should we give any explanation of our position to your office
We take very strong issue with the facts alleged in the "Customer's Statement of the problem." Simply stated they are not truthful recitations of the facts The complainant is most certainly entitled to her child's medical records We have been unsuccessful in our attempt to communicate this fact to her
Request is made that you advise the complainant that she may contact *** *** ** *** *** ** *** at any time during business hours and they will gladly arrange for her to have a copy of her son's fileA letter was also sent to the complainant explaining the process for obtaining a copy of her son's records
If you have any additional questions or issues regarding this matter please feel free to contact me at any time

New Behavioral Network has received notification of your additional concerns regarding complaint ID [redacted] with the Revdex.com.
On May 1, 2014, our initial response to your complaint was sent via Cetiified Mail to the address listed above. I have attached a copy of this, which indicates there were three (3) attempts to deliver this letter, and on May 29,2014 it was returned to New Behavioral Network. At this point, we stand behind our previous response.
You are still able to follow the records request procedure, which includes the procedure to send records to another provider you choose. Please contact our office at [redacted], should you desire help with this best practices procedure

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
I have been very honest about my concern. Initially, I wanted to make sure that misleading information would not be documented against my son, after my final meeting with New Behavioral Network on April 1,2014. However, at this point, my only desire is that New Behavioral Network, does not give their records to any other organization.
Without the help of Revdex.com, I do not feel that I would have gotten a response from them.  I have not received any mail from New Behavioral Network as of yet. I am unsure of what attempts that they have made to reach me about veiwing medical records. I mailed a certified letter to them more than one month ago and have gotten no response from New Behavioral Network.  They were uncooperative.  As well, the manner of which they canceled my son's services really hurt his feelings. Yet they would not share their closing thoughts in writing and refused to give me a discharge summary as well. I do not trust them.
At this point, I  am requesting that their files, "not" be tranferred to any other organization, particularly since they refused to send files to the Therapist/Address listed in the Revdex.com complaint. I asked them to send files to a particular Therapist, but they did not. Likewise, I was unable to obtain a discharge summary from New Behavioral Network. I want no further involment with them.

Review: The New Behavioral Network provided services for my son, [redacted] during the past six monthsThese services were provided through Prevention Behavioral HealthUltimately, my son's services ended abruptly and without closureI needed more clarity after listening to [redacted] at a meeting, which she held on April 1, By the end of this meeting I felt that [redacted] contradicted herself several timesBy the close of the meeting [redacted] used several excuses to explain why my son would no longer be a part of the program at New Behavioral NetworkOne of her reasons was that my son's therapist was leavingAll of the other excuses had to do with faults that [redacted] pin pointed about my sonI was very skeptical because, I had never heard many of these things until this meeting, of which these things were conveniently brought up at this strategic momentI would like to know exactly what New Behavioral Network has documentedTherefore, I immediately requested a copy of my son's files/recordsThe first request was verbal and the second request was by Certified Return Receipt and Priority MailHowever, I have not received a copy of my son's files/records up to this pointLast, New Behavioral network did not give me a DISCHARGE SUMMARYThis should have been the last step of their service to us and this was not done.Desired Settlement: I would like New Behavioral Network to forward my son's records/files to: Psychotherapy Inc., [redacted] In addition, I would like New Behavioral network to mail, to my home address, the DISCHARGE SUMMARY, representing their closing statements surrounding my son's caseNew Behavioral Network has my address
