Company charges a $25 dollar deposit for each week of summer camp per enrollee. They have no written refund policy for cancelling.I paid a $225.00 deposit for my granddaughter to attend 1/2 day summer camp three days a week from June through August 2014. We have to cancel for personal reasons and this company decided to charge a $10 nonrefundable fee "per week" however there is nothing in writing via policy or other stating that fact. They responded letting me know they will deduct and send a check for the difference. This information in the form of a written policy should be provided to anyone considering enrolling into their summer camp programs. And, they should not require the entire deposit amount at once. Desired SettlementI would like a refund of the deposit money I paid for all future weeks my granddaughter cannot attend. We did research and emailed her back at 2:41pm stating that she was correct and that a refund check would be mailed to the address on file. A check for all but $40 of the balance owed was mailed on 6/24/2014 and was cashed by the complainant 7/7/2014. On 6/26/2014 customer emailed that she would like a breakdown of numbers that she felt shorted and that the check was made out to the wrong person. The owner called the customer and left a voice message apologizing and requested a return phone call so that the costs could be explained and reason for the check being made out as it was. A follow up email was made by our office manager on 6/27/2014 informing customer that a voice message was left and that the owner would like to speak with customer. We have had no response from customer since 6/27/2014. We do owe customer an additional $40 but do not want to mail check as it was not acceptable the way we handled the first check issuance.Please advise as to how we are to proceed from here. We have left voice mail and emailed and are awaiting response as to how to proceed at this juncture.
