I accepted a free sample of Ageless Facial Cream from New Brilliance & paid $4.95 shipping. Later my credit card had an unauthorized charge of $98.90.
2/19/2019 New Brilliance on line order# BEXXXXXXXX for free sample of Ageless Facial Cream. MasterCard $4.95 shipping. I received the product. Then on 3/5/2019 NewSkinXXXXXXXXXX unauthorized/unexpected charge $98.90 posted on statement. I don't know why? No additional products were ordered or received. I phoned Customer Service 1-855-653-0700 & complained & asked that the charge be removed. Rep (Megan) abruptly hung up on me. I contacted my MasterCard to dispute the unauthorized charge. 3/18/19 I also emailed [email protected] stating this false advertising made no disclosure that I was unknowingly signing up for a continuity program and to stop it and fully credit my account immediately. I did receive an email response from New Brilliance that they would. I then forwarded this email to my credit card company.
Refund $103.85 to my MasterCard account & stop the unauthorized automatic shipment program. They need to stop their deceptive business practices. New Brilliance Skin Co. uses false advertising making no disclosure that customers are signing up for a continuity program. Also they use fake celebrity endorsements of the product line. Revdex.com should shut them down!
I appreciate you investigating this. The New Brilliance company phoned me to say they were going to refund my money and close the fake monthly membership.
I see on my most recent Discover Card statement that the $$ amount in dispute was reimbursed to my account.
