I am so sorry I did not reply to your electronic correspondence within the time limit. I have just completed my final communication w/the owner, yesterday, via phone, (Mr. Hang Z[redacted]) of NEW BROADWAY LAUNDROMAT, (Consumer Affairs License #[redacted]). I need to pursue further action based on the following: I took an (expensive, designer) garment to be drycleaned in October, picked it up in November & took it out of packaging in December to wear for the 1st time & discovered it was: A. NOT CLEAN and B. DAMAGED (approximately a dozen holes in wool weave). I returned item; they half-fast repaired, did not clean nor issue refund. Owner Lin blamed it on his outsourcing middleman who "actually was responsible" & me who did not check the sweater until I wore it weeks after I picked it up. The item is permanently ruined & I can no longer wear & at a loss for 3 figures. I need to cite / pursue legally this loss. Please advise my next step. Sincerely yours, [redacted]
