I am sorry for the late response I am still getting things situated since we recently moved locationsHere is our detailed description of the incident. Customer dropped the vehicle off with complaint of vehicle not starting/engine cylinder misfire on 01-31-Vehicle was towed in from
another shop and did not seem to be kept in great shapeVehicle would intermittently not start and PCM would not send signal to coils when it did startCustomer was aware of the issue as she had already priced the job from Best Imports. After months of the car sitting on our lot the customer decided she wanted to have the car repaired.(no storage fees were charged during this period)We replaced the computer once and it got fried on start upWe advised the customer the coils purchased on vehicle were of low quality. The receipt the customer showed were for dollar coils and we recommended upgrading coils to a quality name brand.(Reciept that we still have). We replaced computer again and installed new coils customer suppliedThis resolved customers original complaint of cylinder misfireAfter leaving with car, customer and her boyfriend drove back maybe minutes later and informed us of lack of acceleration over 50mphAt that time we informed customer of probable catalytic converter damage due to engine being driven with cylinders misfiringA clogged catalytic converter was not the cause for the cylinder misfireCustomer returned a month later and had the oil changed in her vehicle and had no issues or complaints while here. We still have in our possession the original coils and computer that the customer had on her vehicle for testing to verify the problem. I ask this complaint be dropped from the record so that no legal action is required against the customer for defamation. I SAID FINE I WILL DO UP ALL THE PAPERWORK ALONG WITH THE ESTIMATE [redacted] EMAIL IT TO YOU. AT RESIDENCE. I HAD ONE OF OUR GUYS MEET [redacted] (THE DRIVER) AT THE RESIDENCE IN [redacted] ALONG WITH [redacted] NOTHING WAS PACKED, I WAS GETTING PHONE CALLS FROM [redacted] TRYING TO CALL [redacted]. THERE WAS ONE ON MY ROOM X ROOM SURVEY THAT I DONE ON MARCH 23RD THAT WAS IN THE LIVING ROOM BUT I HAVE NO IDEA IF [redacted] REMOVED THAT HIMSELF WHEN HE LEFT FOR [redacted] OR IF SOMEONE WAS IN THE HOUSE IN THE 2 MONTHS PRIOR THAT I WAS THERE ALL I KNOW WAS THAT THE DAY THE TRUCK WAS LOADED THERE WAS NO TV PUT ON THE TRUCK. AS FOR THE ITEMS THAT ARE PACKED [redacted] BROKEN, THAT WAS PACKED BY [redacted] NOT BY OUR STAFF [redacted] IT IS CONSIDERED OWNER PACKED. FOR LEATHER FURNITURE WE DO NOT WRAP THEM IN PLASTIC, THEY WOULD HAVE BEEN PADDED WITH OUR MOVING PADS. [redacted]S ORIGINAL ESTIMATE WAS BASED ON 3,296 POUNDS AT AN ESTIMATED CHARGE OF $[redacted] THE ACTUAL WEIGHT WAS 3,108 POUNDS AT A COST OF $[redacted]. IF [redacted] THINKS [redacted] IS OWED ANYTHING FOR THE TIME HE SPENT PACKING THEN THAT IS UP TO [redacted] TO LOOK AFTER, NOT FOLEYS OR [redacted] VAN LINES. WE RUN INTO LOTS OF DIFFERENT SITUATIONS HOWEVER THIS IS A FIRST LIKE THIS ONE. WE HAVE NO PROBLEM HELPING PEOPLE PACK [redacted] WE WOULD NEVER NOT PACK SOMEONE THAT WE AGREED TO, MAKES NO SENSE.
