I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and I can call in/conference call on November 7, at 1:00PM to discuss the matter My number is ###-###-#### The commanding officer that was stationed at the [redacted] unit during this the planning and execution of the meal has taken another position in another unit in [redacted] so he is no longer available, and I myself live two hours away and do not have the time to come to [redacted] to meet face to face.Note: Although the subject line may say that I accept the business's response to this complaint, this message is not an acceptance or rejection of the complaint but is a continuation of the issue.Regards, [redacted]

First, I want to offer my apologies to Mr** if we have failed to deliver a great experience and/or have been unresponsive to attempts to seek resolution The claim that the catering price was submitted and never replied to, but then RAISED just two weeks before the event is inaccurate
according to our GM; who states that they had a number of conversations regarding menu offer and level of service for the event, expected guests, and so on; and that initial price quoted was REDUCED to try and accommodate the budget available Our GM states that the menu offer and extent of service was haggled over, eventually settling on a menu offering that included meats, sides, deserts and beverages; and that full service buffet off-premise was decided upon with us serving the food buffet style and refilling drinks while guests were seated Five staff worked the event that went nearly hours. After the event, the bill was settled as agreed toOur GM states that conversations did take place with Mr** after the event, apparently due to there being less people in attendance than had been planned forThe GM states that he spoke to Mr** more than once and he thought the matter closed. I must say that the claim by Mr** that months has gone by with repeated attempts to reach someone to obtain a reply is simply hard to understandOur guest Feedback number is on our receipts; and our franchise contact numbers are posted in the restaurant entryways for all guests to readily seeGuests will often call a store and the cashiers on duty will provide an office number for those that askOur franchise and Golden Corral Corp offices are easily accessible on the web.It is our position that we tried to accommodate the budget given; that we brought and served food as agreed upon at a price agreed upon, and that the price was fair and was agreed to by all in advance. However, it is my intention to reach out to Mr** myself and try and resolve this complaintI hope to arrange a face meeting with Mr** and his Commanding Officer along with the GM and our Area Manager so that we can try and resolve this matterWe value all our guests but especially those that wear the uniformWe always do everything we can to honor and please our uniformed guests and we will try and do so in this instance.Let me close with the fact that Golden Corral and Platinum Corral take great pride in our support of the men and women that serve in our Armed Forces. At the *** location alone we have served over 6,free meals on Military Appreciation Night to our veterans since we opened in 2009, and have collected over $22,in donations for the DAV*** has also raised $18,since just for Camp Corral, a summer camp for kids of wounded or fallen vets.Platinum Corral as a franchise of Golden Corral has swept the top awards for recognition nationwide many years for its fundraising efforts on behalf of the DAV and Camp CorralAs a unit group of Golden Corrals we have served over 152,free meals to Veterans since 2009, while also raising $779, for DAV Platinum’s restaurants fund raised over $307,in alone and over $1,016,since for Camp Corral I hope we can set a meet with Mr** and resolve this, but NO ONE can say that we do not honor and support our active duty Service men and women, and our Veterans.
