Dear [redacted] , Please let this serve at LSAC’s response to the complaint submitted from the Revdex.com on March 30th, This applicant registered for the June LSAT on March 9th, During the LSAT registration process, applicants must confirm that they have read the Notice for LSAT Registrants, certify that they have read the LSAC Policies & agree to be bound by them, and are also aware that they will be subject to LSAC’s Refund Policy should they choose to cancel their registration at a later dateThey cannot complete their LSAT registration without checking that they certify that they have read the Notice for LSAT RegistrantsA link to LSAC’s refund policy is provided during the registration process, and states that the LSAT registration fee is only partially refundable, due to the fact that processing costs are incurred in the registration process regardless of whether the applicant actually takes the testLinks to LSAC’s refund policy, and all LSAT & Credential Assembly Service fees are provided belowhttp://www.lsac.org/jd/lsat/lsat-cas-refunds http://www.lsac.org/jd/lsat/lsat-cas-fees All LSAT partial refund requests must be received by the listed receipt deadlines for each administration, and these are listed on our website hereWhen an LSAT partial refund request is received by the stated deadline, the registrants LSAT registration is then canceled, and they are granted the partial refund of $On the partial refund request form, it is again stated that LSAT fees are only partially refundable due to the fact that processing costs are incurred in the registration process, regardless of whether the registrant actually takes the testThose requesting the partial refund must sign & date the partial refund request form, confirming that they authorize LSAC to process the refund of their LSAT registration, certify that they have read LSAC’s policies, are aware that their account will be refunded, and that their registration will be canceled in accordance with the published refund policiesPlease find a copy of the partial refund request form attachedAs such, all LSAT registrants are made aware of the LSAT partial refund policy when they register to test, and also when they submit the partial refund request form should they choose to do soThis policy applies to all LSAT registrants who elect to cancel their LSAT registration by the partial refund request receipt deadline for the LSAT administration they’ve registered forWe hope this information is helpful, and please let us know if you require any additional informationBest Regards, Chris B [redacted] Candidate Communications Analyst

Consumer Complaint # [redacted] To Whom It May Concern, Please let this serve as LSAC’s response to [redacted] **’s complaint Every LSAT exam registration period has both a regular, and late registration deadlineAll candidates who register for the exam during regular registration are required to pay the registration fee of $in order to registerCandidates who register during late registration must then pay the late registration fee of $72, along with the $registration feePlease refer to the link provided below for a complete list of all LSAT administration dates and deadlines, posted on our website 24/ [redacted] [redacted] was approved for LSAC’s fee waiver on 3/10/Each approved LSAC fee waiver includes two LSAT registrations free of charge, however late registration fees are not covered by the fee waiver and still must be paidThe fee waiver also includes free registration for LSAC’s Credential Assembly Service (normally a $registration fee), a free copy of the LSAT Super-Prep (normally a $publication) and four free law school reports (normally $apiece)Please refer to the link provided below for complete information regarding fee waiver policy, and what it includes [redacted] On May 12th, [redacted] spoke with Barbara, an LSAC candidate services supervisor, and was told that the late registration fee could not be waived, as it is not covered by the fee waiverShe also informed him that he had until May 13th, by 11:pm eastern time to register for the June LSATBarbara gave him her direct phone number to contact on May 13th if he wanted to register over the phone during business hoursShe noted in his file that she was expecting him to call her the morning of May 13th in order to registerShe did not hear from [redacted] ***, so she called him directly to attempt to see if he wanted to register for the June LSAT, but got no answerShe then left him a message, informing him that he could register online through his account up until 11:pm eastern time on May 13thCandidates may register online through their accounts, or may do so over the phone with a representativeOnline registration can be completed at any time, as long as registration is still open [redacted] did not call LSAC again until 5/15/2015, after the late registration deadline had passedAt no point did Barbara say that she would provide an ‘override’ to register him for the June LSATFurther, no such action is possibleOnce the late registration deadline has passed, no one may register for the LSAT exam for any reasonThis policy is enforced without exception [redacted] had over hours after speaking with Barbara on 5/to register for the June exam As stated previously, LSAC’s fee waiver includes four free law school reportsOnce all four have been used, the $report fee is then applied for all subsequent reports to be sent out [redacted] asserts that the report fee was applied after he submitted his complaint, however that is not the caseOur records indicate that his four free law school reports had all generated, and were sent out priorOne report was sent on 3/16/2015, one was sent on 4/1/2015, and two were sent on 4/8/respectivelyThe law school report fee was then applied because all four of the free reports had already been used On 5/15/2015, [redacted] spoke with Barbara again and insisted on speaking with another supervisorHe was called back several minutes later by Mary, another supervisor in candidate servicesMary disconnected the phone call after repeatedly being told to stop talking by [redacted] *** LSAC is committed to providing courteous, accurate, and professional service to candidatesAt no point was [redacted] spoken to rudely, unprofessionally, combatively, confrontationally, or provocatively, in [redacted] ***’s wordsHe was given very clear information regarding the fee waiver, the late registration fee, and the late registration deadline If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact us Sincerely, Chris B [redacted] Candidate Communications Analyst Law School Admission Council [email protected]
