New Country Motors

Review: I was happy to find this F 350 at New york motors. I went down to the Bronx from my home 45 minutes away the date I was supose to take delivery. We I arrived we started doing the paperwork and making copies of required information that he told me to bring.. At this time he added two other things to the requirement and told me that he had no comertial plates so I cant take the vehicle. Please note that my step son had already left to go back to Rockland County 45 minutes away..I said what am I going to do he just shrugged his shoulders and said not my problem you can't take the car without the proper plates. Don't you think as a dealer he should have been prepared. Then I do a visual of the vehicle which he told me was rust and damage free..Guess what it has a dent on the drivers side rear fender and 3-4 2" scratches along with a bumper that is rusting..When I brought this to his attention he said what do you want its a 2003...I wanted what he explained and told me...Is that too much to ask? Then when I got into the cab I almost feel due to the fact the Nerf bar was not even secured on the vehicle... Once inside I noticed the windshield was cracked also....This was starting to upset me because the truck was not in the shape he stated..I told him he should price the vehicle to reflect these issues and he turned around and said supply and demand in his own way...I did agree that the mileage was great and still purchased the car after he took off $300.00 but refused to take anymore off. I then had to leave the car in the lot...This was after he demanded I insure the vehicle stating that I have to as the owner... I was told by my insurance company they would not do that and he then grabbed the phone and lied to them and said I was taking car that night.. I was scared the way he got when the insurance company told me to not insure something that I was not in procession of. So I just went along with this... The next day at 930 am I faxed all the additional info he needed like he asked...At 2 pm I called and asked when I could come and pick up my vehicle and he started to argue with me so I started to loss my cool thinking how dare he.. I'm the owner and insurer of a vehicle I don't have... I have bought alot of cars over my lifetime and this is the first place that when asked was surprised that I wanted them to service the vehicle as they said it would be... Then I asked for the car fax and handed them the free coupon that I got off of their website and I was told they don't use car fax...Why do they advertise this if they don't use it...So needless to say I went home and purchased a car fax for 59.95... The car fax was advertised as free with coupon but could not retrieve one when I asked [redacted] 'So as of 428 pm I still don't have my car because they are too cheep to call a windshield company and they are searching junk yards. I believe not only am I owed an apology but I should be compensated for my troubles and loss of use of a vehicle that was promised delivery on 11/**/13...I also feel as a dealer it is their responsibility to service and make sure the car is running properly as well as safe. This was not advertised as is....I just want the vehicle and I want it serviced. I also want 2 days loss of use as well as time wasted in a monetary settlementDesired Settlement: I want a serviced and safe vehicle as advertised. I also want monitary settlement for my troubles as well as the 2 days in which I have not been able to use a car I own and insure...
