New County Optical

At this time, I have been contacted
directly by New County Optical Co., Inc regarding complaint ID ***, however my complaint has NOT been resolved because:
they now have asked us to do something (send in my son's eye prescription, but first we need to see (and pay for another exam)from another eye Doctor-which will take a few more days on our part) and then they (New County Optical Co.) are promising us -two pairs of contact lenses (big deal) as a consolation for their not providing us with an eye prescription (that we'd already paid them $for (but they do not seem to have it!)The person I'd been dealing with from their "corporate" office -Scott- in Westchester kept calling me "hon" on the phone-what a jerk!

Review: My son went and got an eye exam-he paid for it himself and got his first pair of temporary contacts to try out and then return for follow up and get his prescription for contacts. When he returned-the business was GONE with an eviction notice on the door. He paid all that money and never received his contacts prescription!! Now he has to save up hundreds of dollars to do all over again with another eye doctor.Desired Settlement: We want our money back and want to know the name of this dead beat doctor.
