I have reviewed the response offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below I should not have to give Mr [redacted] receipts for any work, I will pass the letter to the mechanic that stated the starter was brokenI was told by one mechanic and auto parts store if the bolt is out the starter is broken and needs replaced.The bolt should of never came out if the job was done correctly by [redacted] Auto, the bolt would not tighten, since it was half on and cross threadedMr [redacted] admitted he didn't fix the car since it needed a coil.I did offer to let him inspect the starter, but did not want any more work done by himIn order to keep my warranty on the starter, I was told the parts I paid him for where in his name and I had to let him work on my carThis is monopolization by him to keep business, and since I paid for these parts they should be in my nameI have never had a business put parts in their nameI feel cheated and that my parts where stolen since I paid for all of themMy rights walked on, since I supposedly have no choice but let him work on the carHe has made many statements by phone and to you to keep his $He admitted he would loose much business over thisHow would any one feel paying what I did for parts to find they are in the mechanics name, and they leave you no freedom of choice to take your vehicle to another mechanicNot good businessSince the parts are in his name I would like my money back so I will have a warranty, and can have another mechanic replace the starter, I have already paid for new wires and plugs, and that laborI have had no other issues since the coil was replaced, I live on limited income and so does my year old husbandHe has taken advantage of usI have witnesses to the problems I still had after he supposedly fixed the carIf my car had been test driven after the work was done none of this would of come up, but it never wasI got in the car in the bay after paying and drove off, thinking it was fixed
***, at the time we received your letter Mr [redacted] job site was Not and still is not ready for the installation of the remaining hardware for his overhead doorsCurrently the panels and vertical hardware is installed for his three doors We have explained and drawn pictures more than times as to what he needs to do to provide the correct framing to complete his installation but this still has not been doneWe ordered his doors month's ago and had to store the doors as his contstruction was way behind and failed an electrical inspectionWe made multiple visits to his home to attempt installation but at each attempt he was still not ready The first time his interior walls were not insulated or finishedThe second time he had not painted his hardware as he agreed to doThe third time the counter area for door number was not builtOn the fourth visit the wood framing was not completeI personally met with [redacted] on march 10th to discuss the issues and as of today we do not know when he will have the work completed We have pictures and other correspondance which shows the panels installed as well as documentation for the other issues We will do our best to schedule the completion of his installation but not at the expense of our other customersSincerely, [redacted] Greer OverHead Door
