rejecting this response because: A minimum amount of work was completed on remodel project. Completed were laminated floors and trim in den/dining room, demo of fireplace, removal of kitchen/front entry way floor, framework for laundry area (incomplete), demo of wallboard and replacement of wallboard in den/dining room (redo of some of ceiling and wallboardpartially finished of archway between living room and dining room. Not started were remodel of bathroom (redo shower, floor, new vanity, remove tub, etc.), tile flooring in kitchen/front entry way, new countertop in kitchen, install cabinets in laundry area, removing paneling and refinishing walls to be painted in living room, install new lighting in front hallway and kitchen (we buy fixtures), install new ceiling fans, switches and outlets in living room and den, purchasing and installing new gas fireplace in den, a broom closet and a bifold door for laundry closet This is everything that was completed in 1st paragraph, and everything not completed in in pargraph 2. My estimate may be a little low, closer to 25-30% of total given to Tuttle in advance in the amount of $20,

We are working with this client on a resolution.

We already have an agreement with them to finish the contract.the patio that was installed was approved by the client and the yard damage that was done was explained multiple times by my concrete contractor that there would be yard damage from the bobcat work. Our company will honor the...

agreement we already have in place to finish the project which is swapping out the railings that are wrong (which are already onsite and cost an addition $1,000) and we will also refund a portion of their contract monies. The client still has a balance on the contract which they would keep for their own use. We have been hard to contact recently due to some family issues.

compromise after over a month of continued back and forth via email with multiple prompts to receive follow-up, finally having to accept a longer than optimal repayment plan (graduated payment plan lasting approximately 15 months if owner honors it as written).  In the email delivering the final contract addendum, the owner even stated "I will either do everything I can to honor this or not".  This agreement will only be satisfactory when all refund payments ($3,310) have actually been made.

We have not gotten any responses to our communications...

to Steve [redacted] letter from our attorney explaining what we expect back from the 12 thousand we gave to him including paying a 3rd party to estimate the work done so that we can come to a fair end to our contract. Also, we submitted this claim well over a month ago and only now do we get a vague response. We want our money back and an apology from Steve for of the pain and hardship he has put my wife and myself through and nothing short of that will suffice.

I am rejecting this response because: I have no rewritten contract to officially have agreement on any of this. That had been requested nearly 2 months ago. I have not seen a refund of the money yet. The deck will need to pass code as well. I don't want to hear about the additional 1000.00 cost to you on the wrong installed railings as that has nothing to do with me or my mistake. A GC should be there to inspect his teams work and ensure a proper job is done. Until I have a rewritten contract stating the money to be returned for the lack of staircase and my deck passes code, this will remain open until resolution. You have not responded to anything, until I got the Revdex.com involved. This needs to be taken care of quickly.

Way more work was done than 10%. Almost the entire scope of the main living area was done. The client may have over paid for services rendered, but this isn't known yet. We have been unable to continue in business and have shut down because of many circumstance beyond our control.

We have agreed with the owner to close this project out per their request.

We will be communicating with the owner on the project snd coming to a mutually agreed upon exit strategy, which if necessary will also result in a contract revision and a mutually agreed upon crefit.

This complaint has been fully rectified with the owner.

This still isn't a clear representation of all the work done. Either way, we would like to work with the client to come to an agreement on the contract.
